Yesterday i heave joined an awesome music festival in Milan, Italy: Rock in IDRho!!!

Now my ears are full of nice music

 

Rock fests are always fun and somebody always get drunk Too bad you was heart. I hope this will be nothing serious. I hate the situations like this when you just can't enjoy the music because of the jerks...

 

I'm an EBM person myself, as well as many other types of music.

I was into EBM when I first heared Razed in Black. Still love those guys. Later I was into Haujobb, Oomph, FLA, Girls Under Glass, Dkay, Front242... many-many others. And Diorama (though they are not 100% EBM). I can't stop listen to their Cubed album lately. And I', a huge fan of NIN and KMDFM of course

Oh, I love ZONE!!!! That's not my favorite of theirs but I really like it. I love their song "Daibakuhatsu" - it's so Genki!!!

All of those are good bands, especially Razed in Black and Haujobb.

One of my favorite bands, Blink 182, has released their first new song in years! It's called "Up All Night", and is pretty good!

I don't go to a lot of concerts, but I would love to see Blink some day! I saw Angels and Airwaves, Tom DeLonge's other band, a couple years ago, and it was great!

 

Besides Blink, I like bands like Garbage, Dir En Grey, Rammstein, Metallica and the Black Mages. I listen to a lot of J-pop too.

I'm lucky enough to live near Vintage Vinyl in NJ, so I have access to an amazing heavy metal selection. I picked up The Maze by Vinnie Moore (sample:

I've been almost always listening to http://www.hardrockin80s.com since nearly 10 years ago. (It will be exactly 10 years some time next month. I'm not sure exactly when I started listening to that station.) It changed my life. I never cared much for music before that, but now I can't get enough of it.

 

The thing that opened my eyes to this type of music was Ferrari F355 Challenge for the Dreamcast/PS2/arcade. I first played the arcade version in the summer of 2000, and the thing that really stuck with me was how awesome the music was. (All of the gameplay music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU-RqdlFvzo&fmt=18 ) I eventually got the Dreamcast version that Christmas and then sought out more music like it.

 

I don't listen to much else. My favorite thing is when there are guitars and drums and real singing. None of that screaming and growling stuff. I love guitar virtuoso and orchestral experimentations, too. Yngwie Malmsteen did one of my favorites containing both electric guitar and orchestra:

 

To paraphrase that one fan in the beginning of the Spinal Tap movie, heavy metal has more power, and that's why I like it
