baldylox Posted December 4, 2010 While not really a photostory, it's close enuff! I went to the craft stores Micheals and AC Moores yesterday ( Friday ) and had a really good time. I spent over an hour at each store and found some really cool things for the girls. Among them are the things I have in the pics below. I saw a Christmas area with some smaller things there so I went to check it out. They had these little Candle Lights sold singly. You always see people with candles in the windows for the holidays so this was one of those things. Anyways, it was a whole 1.50 and I didn't think much of it until I walked past them and saw these cool mini lampshades. They were designed for some other light that I didn't like at all but the thought hit me that this lampshade may actually fit those candle lights. So I took one of the shades over to the lights and took one out of the box to test fit it. It fit! So now I had a cool lamp for the girls end table! Here is Manami sitting next to a table with the lamp on it all lit up. I turned off the flash for this next picture so you can see the light itself. It's not too bright but still shines well enuff to see what's on the table. In front of the lamp are 2 mini picture frames I got on sale there for three bucks each. They are both metal and have a nice finish to them. For pictures, all I did was load in some photo paper in the printer, pull up 2 pics of the girls and then size them for wallet sized. After printing, they needed a slight trim for a perfect fit into the frames. And below you see the results! So for right about 10 bucks, I got 2 great frames and an awesome lamp! I have lots more goodies to show over the next few weeks so stay tuned! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Seriously? You actually thought those 2 pics would be good in these? That is hilarious! Great minds DO think alike! I really wanted a cool one for my 3 girls and of course, that is one of my all time faves. It was a natural choice. But for Tsubaki, I wasn't positive which one to go with. I looked thru all of them and that one kept coming up as the winner. And after I printed them and put them in, I knew I made the right choices. I'm glad these pictures made you happy. But wait til you see the jewelry ones... They go up tomorrow when I have time to do a proper post. Bwaahaaahhaaa! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
