Modded DD-04 head

What the title says ^^U I practised mods and face-up with a WS DD-04 head. I don't have bigger eyes so those will have to do for now. I'm not very satisfied with the outcome so I'll redo it later -I just couldn't wait to see what the head looked like with colors on ^^

 

Edit: Salica lent me eyes to try on so they make a big difference ^^ (Now I'm unsure whether to redo or not... )

What aren't you satisfied with? She looks amazing! I especially like her eyelashes and eyebrows.

I think I used very dark colors... I want her to be more cutesy, so maybe less pastels for sure. And my lines could've been nicer ^^U

I think she looks very nice as she is too. Maybe the lips are a little dark as you said but her blush and eye details look very good. The eyes are cute too but maybe a change in those would make her look more cute to you? It's odd how big a change of eyes can make on a head.

I think you did a really good job ! I like her innocent look

She would probably look better with bigger eyes , we will have to arrange that next time you come ,

I will lend you a couple of pair so you can test your face-up easily

I agree, she looks adorable. But like salica said, you could try the bigger eyes and see if that makes a difference before you redo her face-up. She already looks like a cute kid blushing.

Katnaper, I tried the eyes on and now I'm thinking whether to redo or not the face-up...

If you're unhappy with the lip color, you could try to carefully remove just that and redo it, and leave the rest alone. I've done that before, you just need to lightly sand the edges of the sealer that were created by the removal, and spray a new light coat before repainting.

She's very cute! I think the lips are a little dark, but I love the rest of her faceup. ^_^

Jezrah: Thing is that I blushed the whole head (even though it might not be noticeable on the pictures). I'll redo it anyway because I also want less yellow lines =) Beside I don't know how many layers of MSC she has so when I remove it with an Xacto there will be a "bump" there (I know, that's the way I fix mistakes or take off dust).
