Mai's Two Year Anniversary

My second girl that is celebrating a January B-day with me is Mai Shiranui. I bought Mai off Ebay with the help of Mitsuki. The seller was a bit odd to say the least and they were selling off ALL their DD's and clothes at once. Mitsuki did some great detective work and found out that seller was on FFM and she showed me pics of Mai along with all the other girls they had up for sale. So I wound up bidding on Mai and winning her along with some clothes.

 

She arrived at my house on 1-18-11 and has been one of my most favorite girls since.

 

Here she is right out of the box.... altho she had to borrow some clothes so she wasn't nekkid.

She soon got into her default outfit and I was in love.

She came with a set of red eyes in her but her default eyes were also in the package. I left her in the red eyes for a bit. The clothing I bought along with her was the Kanu Cheongsam set, seen here.

Mai got along great with Manami since they both love beer.

Mai also enjoys cosplay and here's a rare shot of her dressed as Rei. She's even on a DDII M-bust body to complete the look.

Her default wig is a little fragile and since I didn't want to damage it, I decided to try another wig on her. I opted for a gray Cool Cats wig.

She liked the gray wig but didn't like the twintail look so she dropped those.

I liked that wig on her quite a lot. But she thought it made her look either too tough or too odd. She protested by dressing up as a gang member.

She also got to try out Manami's wig, even going as far to trick me into thinking she WAS Manami once!

After my first sewing meet, I made a shirt and let Mai try it out. She kept Manami's wig and ventured outside to play in the yard.

But soon after, she decided that she was really a blonde at heart. So I got this wig for her and it's been her default ever since. Both of us think it's perfect. She also wanted a change of eyes and her pick was a bright green.

We both loved the wig but the eyes weren't exactly what we wanted. But when my Saber Extra arrived, her spare set of green eyes were the perfect shade for Mai. She now uses these as her defaults and I'm happy to say she's now complete.

Thanks again! Mai has been thru more changes than any of my other girls. I don't know exactly why tho, it's not like I didn't like any of her various styles. It may just be that her vision of who she is took longer to show itself than it did for my other girls. Either way I'm happy with how she is now.
