Early stages of a cosplay build

Aiming to make a N7 armor to fit a DDDy body. I started to tackle the hardest part of the build first... the busts... If i can get this part done, then the rest should be easy.. well i hope so

I still have a lot of sanding to do and figuring out how to put the parts together

Forgive me for asking a dumb question but is your chest piece a series of individual styrene plastic sheets cut into shape and stuck together or is it a 3D modelled one? I know nothing about these things Let me say though that whatever it is made of, it still looks pretty awesome.

Yeap its the 1st one. 50 x 2mm cut outs stuck together. Which was a chore to do

I'm equivalent to a human 3d printer

LOL. I kinda thought they looked familiar. Hubby has pla plates he uses for his Gundams but I never really paid it any attention. What an innovative way of doing an armor. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of your progress. Hmmm... maybe I can bug hubby to work on something for me, hehehe

This is awesome! Please keep updating with pictures of the process, I've always enjoyed seeing how things are made. Oh and because Mass Effect is awesome too. Except the ending. *grumble*

I can't wait to see this finished! I love Mass Effect, which armor are you going to make?

If I had the money making an Asari DD would be fun to do.

You really ARE a human 3D printer.

I'm gonna try to make a N7 armor. I'm not happy with the current test and will redo it another way. But I can't do anything about it since i'm still on holiday
