Salica's convalescence

Hi everybody !

 

Just for those who were wondering how I was doing ^_^ Balldylox told me there might be some

people who wanted to know so;

 

My surgery ,the 1st of june went very well , a 2 hours of repairs on a old accident wound

But it was surely worth the try to finish a long 10 years of chronic pain on a hip .

 

So now I am resting to make sure not to break the nice work done by my surgeon .

I am suppose to be really quiet and restrain myself for 5-6 weeks ...that looks like eternity

But I'm doing fine and I will be around even if I won't be able to make photo stories for a while .

It's so great to hear that everything went well for you. I wish you the best and hope you have a speedy recovery. But... take your time - you have a doctor's approval to relax and take it easy - try to enjoy it as much as you can.

 

My girls also wanted me to let you know they hope you are feeling better soon!!!!

Like James said, you actually have a doctors approval to NOT do anything! Very cool!

 

Take your time in recuperating and make sure to take advantage of your time off.

That's great that the surgery went well. I hope you can be distracted talking to us while you wait out your 5-6 weeks. I am sure your girls don't mind not being in photo stories for a while because they most certainly value you more. Get well soon!

Ahhh, relaxation... although why *does* it seem like forever when they tell you to do it?!

Glad to hear you're recovering well, I hope the surgery actually accomplished it's task and that you'll be pain free or at least feeling much better when fully recovered. Actually, I really hope you're already feeling much better but that might be asking too much.

I enjoy reading all the posts that you made. If I have to, I would go back and read all those posts again, . Hope you recover soon, and don't stress your body too much. The next 5-6 weeks should be all about you~

Actually , I am already noticing the difference ! I don't feel the pain I used to feel in my hip and leg ,to cut the nerves did helped a lot The only thing that is bothering me right now is the 5 inches long opening he had to do to find and cut these nerves . As it is in the groin area I have to be really careful in every move I do to make sure I don't reopen surgical wound

But it's looking really good !! I'm glad I went thru it

You're so right!! I would love to have Elisabeth take care of me if I felt bad.

 

But my girls would be so jealous! So I'll stay here and let Elisabeth take care of you instead.
