mitsuki Posted June 10, 2011 Shinobu came out with me to the "Thursday on First" local street fair held downtown close to the lab. "There are lots of vendors selling crafts and food." "Here is a glass shop full of things I can't buy because I am convinced I will break them. Although, it would be fun to sit in that big martini-glass-looking thing." "The shop behind me called Tangerine is a gift shop." "There are so many stalls with so many different things for sale." "Where are those homemade marshmallows?" "I guess the marshmallow shop isn't here every time, but I won't give up." "Let's go see the park over there." "Check out this sculpture of flying birds." "This pattern looks perfect for performing magic!" "I am bringing a witch hat next time." "Time for a short break." "Look at all these nice plants and trees." "It is overcast, but the weather is still pleasant." "More flowers and plants." "I really like these. They look like lavender." Here is Shinobu pretending that she is waiting for the bus to take her home like in an anime. We live within walking distance to the lab, so we never ride the bus. scripple Posted June 10, 2011 Hi Shinobu, thanks for the tour of the street fair. I recommend the next time if you can't find the marshmallows that you try to find funnel cakes instead. It's very nice looking and seems like a school uniform of sorts.... is she going to magic school somewhere? That circle place she found did look like it would be good for magic or alchemy. Did you know that Pim got a bunch of those little keychain/phone strap things shaped like choux cremes while she was in Japan and just threw them out? A homemade marshmallow shop sounds really interesting. The only ones I'm familiar with are in the bags from the supermarket and aren't much to get excited about. I was thinking more about how you provide us with a lot of information and links, but adopting them yourself also helps. Are you going to try making your own, jun97?
