mangaemi Posted February 24, 2013 Ok so I'm just the teeniest bit confused (This is my first ever lottery lol). Ok So VolksUSA has the entry for both gals at March 10th-March13th. So VolksIntl is going to be March 23ish right? When do they let people know with lottery fullset dolls when they won? I know with the past 07 and 05 heads VolksUSA took their sweet time telling anyone that they won... and I'd hate to try for the VolksUSA release of Lucy (just b/c of how hard it was for Aoko and Melty) then not have any idea if I've won when the VolksIntl comes up. Price wise is it more advantageous to try for the Intl one? On another thread the feedback I got was that shipping was about 60ish$ from Volks Intl - so the VolksIntl Lucy would still be cheaper by like 100$ (if I'm doing all my math skillz right... and assuming the USA shipping would be probably 30ish). Obviously the whole idea of a lottery is a gamble so it's pretty much up to when I decide to place my bet. I might lose out on the intl lottery when I might have had a win thru the USA branch. Jezrah Posted February 25, 2013 Although I'm betting she won't be as hard to win as Aoko/Melty since she's a rerelease. There haven't been nearly as many people clamoring to get her since a lot already have one. So It's up to you whether to risk skipping the US chances in favor of a better price. DJStarstryker Posted February 25, 2013 Yeah, the yen has weakened enough in the past 2 months that it's cheaper to buy from the international site. You tend to save ~$100 per doll.
