The other girl is a new Lucy from To Heart 2.

 

 

Semi-white version of Lucy.

 

Another Lucy? So soon? She looks really cute in that outfit and it'll be interesting to see her new skin but I would have preferred a new girl then a remake/rerelease of a girl who is still sorta new. Guess I'm safe doll wise this time. haha.

As much as I like Eir, I know a VERY large part of that is the personality Scripple gave her. (Similar to how I feel about Manami, actually--her character in Billy's stories holds far more appeal than her head mold does.) So I'm safe from her too. Now just have to see what the outfit damage is!

Fully agree. The umbrella was the first thing I noticed.

As to the magical princess and cowgirl thing, as the huge My Little Pony fan shouldn't you be able to put it together? Pink, princess, cowgirl? Clearly she's a MLP wrangling princess.

Re-releasing Lucy is an odd choice. Collectors who love her character or sculpt likely bought the first release, and she's still widely available on the aftermarket. Is anyone really going to double-dip for a new skin colour and outfit? I suspect there will be a lot of splits for the clothes and accessories.

 

It would make more sense to me if they re-released an older girl . . . Did they run out of time for sculpting a new character?

Wow what a shock!!! A re-release of Lucy in semi-white skin??? That is pure crazy since her release isn't really that old.

 

I expected if they did a re-release of a girl with a new skin color it should have been Mariko. But she is still fairly new so to speak as well, but still Lucy????

 

I really like Lucy and I think she is super cute, but there has always been something holding me back from taking the plunge getting her. I think I will still be able to hold back even with this re-release.

 

I can't deny it though I'm pretty disappointed in Volks with this re-release move. They claim their motto is *We seek creativity*, but it seems to me they are lacking creativity by re-releasing a girl that was just released last year.

 

If they want to keep riding the To Heart 2 bandwagon they can at least re-release some of the girls that would be in high demand like Tamaki, Sasara, or even Manaka.

I totally agree about Eir. She is so different from "Ruuko" (Lucy from the anime). The live action Eir is a superbly crafted crafty character.

 

It makes me wonder if Volks wanted this skin tone for her all along and this is their chance to make her how they or the To Heart 2 franchise wanted her.

 

I love twins and sisters so I would love a default faceup semi white Lucy as a sister to my remakeup Lucy. I would also love a Nanami for my Natsuki.

 

If Volks wants to ensure a sell out, they should make WS, NS, tan, and/or semi White re-release Sasara. Even better would be preorder Sasara.

I do like Lucy's cowboy hat, but thats about it.

Nanami doesn't come with that guitar it looks like. Its gonna be sold seperatly. Which is probably good news. and Toheart 2 uniforms make another appearence.

Them releasing a semi white-skin Lucy is so meh :/ I'm safe from her for sure!

It does make me wonder if they're trying to release a different body type from KOS-MOS and Lucy was just the only s-bust white skin...

Interesting that the guitar's coming out separate. Kaycee's already got a cherry red Fender Stratocaster. It's *far* closer to what her character's really supposed to use (a Gibson Les Paul in Mahogany with the Cherry finish) than Nanami's Flying V look-alike. The Strat was a lot cheaper than Nanami's guitar is too. But it comes with a strap and bag and she could actually hold it while standing... Argh. Volks! Why must you do this to me?

 

(Yes, I know Yui's guitar looks closer to a Les Paul than a Strat does. But Kaycee's guitar is supposed to be RED, darn it!)

My wallet is shouting "Please, no more things of To Heart 2 Dungeon Travelers" because my weakness is Sasara valkyrie and much more!!

I'm SO happy I was right about the eyes. I've been interested in the fact I've seen more and more of the animetic eyes being listed as sold out instead of "will be restocked."

Lucy? Again? Do you think its because they are releasing two more girls a month later in April? So they are spread a little thin because the dolpas are so close together?

 

Hmmmm. Now the decision becomes spend now, or hold on for things coming out a month later that are probably more epic. Decisions....
