RemoveZit how long does a tub of it last??

So with 5 girls... already got two of them with some very mild, yet noticeable staining... (curse you dark clothing!! one was automatic staining in 5 min o__o).

 

Ordering from twin pines soon, but I noticed the shipping doesn't seem to go up until you try to buy more than 3 tubs. How long can one tub of product truly last? With stain removal you have to apply, remove then reapply right? Is it better to order more than one at the start or will it really last you a while?

I have one tube of it and there is a note "6 month"

But i have it since more than 2years now and its allready usefull/useable..you know what i mean.

And i think one tube is more than enough. But you need (!!!) the 911 formula thing too >__<

One tub is good for about a year. Each order is made in a fresh (monthly) batch.

 

At 18 months it dries out & is a bit crumbly.

 

I've used it, and I prefer the zit cream method. It's faster, less smelly & easier to clean up.

or if you have a chemist/pharmacy that still does things oldskool. ask them to mix up a batch benzoylperoxide hydrogel. worked almost overnight for me

Pharmacy can't mix up things without prescriptions... but for last couple years that acne stuff been available overcounter everywhere anyways! My lil tube of 10% stuff from CVS has lasted over a year already

for me it was just paranoia. afraid some chemicals in the over the counter stuff might have some extra stuff in it that could react vinyl in a bad way so i asked buddy of mine in unilever what the safest stuff was and this was the solution

Dibenzoylperoxide is used also as a hardener for curing of polyester resins.

It says, that it contains also diisobutyl phthalate. It's a plasticizer (substances added to plastics to increase their flexibility, transparency, durability, and longevity. They are used primarily to soften polyvinyl chloride PVC).

Not more risky than acne stuff, except it's stronger.

If it's composed mainly from dibenzoyl peroxide plus PVC plasticizer and water, should be quite right for the job.

I'll try to locate this in shop and maybe buy for a test. It's cheap, like 2$ for tube.

yes but dibenzoyl is a different compound altogether. just look at co and co2 for example its just 1 o difference. but one is more hazardous to the body then the other

It's not. It's the same chemical compound. Common name omits the "di-".

So I didn't end up ordering the tub b/c blech.. I'm not a fan of paying almost double for product b/c of the shipping.. o__o

 

Though I did find a 10% benz gel in the cabinet and it seems to be working... just curious, do the stains get darker before they get lighter?? I can only guess b/c the gel is pulling the dye up towards the surface of the vinyl then sunlight along with the cream slowly bleaches it away?

 

I have one where the stains are almost gone from just two days (yay!), and my DDS legs/privates are just starting to be treated.. though.. if the mail man ever comes by when I have the items sitting out in the sun. I wonder what he'll think... XD
