Yukamina Posted February 1, 2013 Pictures? There's probably a way to reshape it, maybe using a hair dryer and something to hold the hair in the shape you want. I don't know if Volks wigs are heat resistant, but I don't recall them being advertised as such, so I'd assume they aren't... so I wouldn't use a hair iron, but maybe hot water or a blow dryer are options. juu-yuki Posted February 1, 2013 Most likely not. Volks do not use heat resistant fibers for their limited DD wigs. http://juu-yuki.com Dolly Shop: http://www.lizanna.com

DJStarstryker Posted February 2, 2013 I was able to blow dry Natsuki's wig and it looks fine. The wig was extremely dusty (it came that way, got it secondhand) and even brushing wasn't helping much, so I had to wash it carefully. The way I did it was by putting the blow dryer on the lowest setting, holding the dryer several inches away from the wig, and I didn't have the warm air directly on the wig the whole time. I'd have the hair dryer pointed at it for maybe 30 seconds, then turn the hair dryer away for several seconds to make sure it wasn't getting too hot. It took a long time to dry thanks to this. I had to shampoo the wig (used Volks shampoo) so it was a lot more wet than your wig would get just to fit something. But the wig looks pretty much as good as new. Are you ready to rock? ^_^
