Akihabara Dollfie Dream Festival in August

To celebrate the re-opening of the Akihabara store Hobby Heaven, there will be a Dollfie Dream Festival August 12-14. Admission is free.

Akihabara-themed DD Photo Contest:

 

1. Send an E-mail with "DD Photo" as the subject.

2. Provide your full name, E-mail, user name or alias, membership number, address, phone number, and comments on your photo.

3. Send your E-mail to: dd@volks.co.jp

 

One image only with a file size limit of 3 MB. The deadline is August 1st.

Hello, DD Owners!

 

The DD Photo Submission has started! It’s so easy. Just send your photo via email and your daughter may get a chance to debut on the DD Design Team’s blog! What? You don’t have any idea how to take cute pictures of your DD!? There are winner photos from the former submissions here!

 

The theme this time is “Akihabara.”

 

I think most DD fans know what Akihabara is. It’s a unique area in the center of Tokyo filled with many hobby stores, game stores, anime stores, etc. If you’re interested in any part of “otaku” culture, you will definitely enjoy visiting it! It may take you several days to check out all of the streets there! Of course, we also have a big flagship store there in front of Akihabara station, which will be renewed this coming August.

 

Is this theme too specific and difficult? Notice that taking pictures in Akihabara is not required! So, how about asking your Moe-chan, Natsuki-chan or ALNA-san to be in your photo? Akihabara is their backyard. Or how about taking pictures of your daughter who keeps asking you to take her to Akihabara for a vacation?

Me too! Moe is so cute! I had a tough time choosing between her and Natsuki, and now I feel like I have a second chance for Moe!

 

I really like the new school uniforms as well! I don't seem to have much luck with Natsuki's alternate outfits though...

I wish they would re-release Natsuki too, even tho I already have Moe, I really like this outfit on her too! She looks adorable

You have the option of getting a second Moe and having her faceup changed to look more like Natsuki's since they use the same mold! ^_^
