Akihabara Dollfie Dream Festival in August

Well, I'm no longer going for her after spending so much on Tamaki. I just hope I don't regret it later when her price goes up.

They're Volks original characters, so you can always hope for a second release/another version/etc! I'm pretty sure the ToHeart2 craze is over, so good going on Tamaki.

I just sent my submission. I took a pic of my Alna. I'll share it after the contest is over. The rules say it has to be an unpublished photo. It won't matter after the contest is over. Hopefully my photo will be featured! (doubt it)

I can understand them having to do things like that with characters that have copyright issues... but with their own characters... it just kinda sucks to not be included.

 

They are only selling her out of the Akiba showroom so I think the choice has mostly to do with them making it an exclusive due to her being an Akihabara themed doll to bring people in to the new store location there. I don't think they wanted to exclude other countries so much as do something to promote the store moving to it's own building.

Awwwwwww man how cruel can you get Volks? I want her SO BAD!!!!! This is such a horrible tease to me. She's gorgeous!!!!!!! To think they would go and take the first DD I fell head over heals for and turn her into a white skin DD which I love very much into a one-off model. *starts sobbing some more*

They come up on Yahoo! Japan Auctions occasionally but they are rare. The Swallowtail maid set was released a long time ago now. I will keep an eye out for that set. There is a black version too. I wish I had that one. It is so cute.

I think white-skinned yuki looks really pretty, but I wouldn't want a DD that I'd feel obligated to leave in a display case all the time. Wouldn't it get lonely in there?

Every time I see Moe, it just kills me. She's so cute, and I didn't have the money for her when the lottery went up... 2 days later, turns out I could have afforded her. ;~; Congrats to all who got her though, I can't wait to live vicariously through your photos.
