Nanoza Posted February 9, 2013 I found many of my girls have no blush so they can look very lifeless. Does anybody know the process for blushing cheeks? Thank you.

Nanoza Posted February 9, 2013 yes bella. give us some step by step instructions. so even a idiot like me cant mess it up You wanna blush your girls too? My fate for example has a very blushed face, and it adds a lot of charm and character. I bet Lily would look great with a more blushed face...But of course we don`t want to mess it up! Yukamina Posted February 9, 2013 For blushing, you basically just need red, white, and maybe peach colored chalk pastels. Just make sure they are chalk pastels/soft pastels and not any other kind. There are lots of expensive high quality brands to choose from, but frankly, I think Mungyo brand is fine (it's inexpensive). I started off with Mungyo, and even after I bought more expensive pastels, I still use Mungyo. (I'm not Bellatrix, sorry, but I've done many face ups so I'll add my input) Just rub the pastels on a clean sheet of paper to create powder, and mix the colors with the brush to get the color you want. Mixing white with the red will make it softer and more pink than if you just use red. Adding peach will make it warmer and more flesh toned. I dab the brush on the paper a bit to make sure there isn't too much powder on and then gently brush it on to the face (make sure the face has been sealed with sealant like Mr. Super Clear). If you make a mistake, you can remove it with a dry magic eraser. I also use a magic eraser to fade the blush or even smooth it out (though I find pastels go on DD heads smoother than resin heads). Once it all looks how you want, seal it a couple more times. Let it dry properly between each coat, 15 minutes should be enough. Make sure you don't breath in any of the spray, it's very toxic.
