Later I got a fiery red wig, but I still needed the right color outfit for Sae to wear. You've gotta track down a Japanese grocery store or bakery, they're quite good. They're not that strongly melon-flavored, they're just a soft, slightly sweet bread. They're almost halfway between an icing-less donut (the airy kind, not the cake kind) and a soft dinner roll. The really good ones you get in Japan have sort of a crunchy crust on them, which is usually sprinkled with sugar, but I've never found that kind in the US. I was surprised to find foliage that was just the right color for the camouflage effect! Thank you, Sayomi. I think Wiguan did a great job making that outfit.
