But yes, resistance is indeed futile omg I'm trying to think of every way to get him, like what TT_TT; I even thought *gasp* of issuing a cc and cancelling it after paying it off...if I don't find someone to get the body off me...I-I'm terrible...Volks is messing my head

Very interested in Alice though after getting Creamy Mami and Yuu not too sure if ill have the money

Well, I can't say I'll be going after any of the dolls myself, but I'm looking forward to seeing that SD17 boy in a custom faceup (yet another Volks sculpt I'll surely fall in love with that is seriously out of my price range... oh Volks) and owner pics of Alice. She totally DOES look like Hotaru, hahaha.

I keep thinking with that eye shape it might make a good DD boy sculpt. Not that I'm looking for another one but I thought I'd point it out. I'm rather 'underwhelmed' by her outfit. I'm just not feeling the super dark/black colors and fur look. I keep wondering where all the color is, especially now that Spring is here. At least her sculpt isn't boring.

yeah same here... she'd be perfect for the guy I'm developing but the slight pout in her lips wouldnt work for me.. XD

 

that and being burned over ddh-05, I'd need to see some actual owner pics after she's released before I'd consider nabbing her. Alice has got so much black though... o___o It's not up to Volks to change the character design but.. really? They seem to pick alot of gals with just tons of black and that new semi white gal is going to look like a leopard/dalmatian in under 2 weeks XD

I was thinking that her mouth looked like it might be an easy mod like I've done with 3 DDH01 heads now, leaving it so it would be easy to paint on whatever mouth you needed. It's hard to tell the thickness of the vinyl in that part of the head though.

I think she means the paint job on the prepaint. I know I was wondering whether or not the head wouldn't be worth more if I wiped it (or at least the lips) and repainted.

but I'd hate to get a limited head then mod it like that - esp price wise i'd rather get a sqlab one to mod since it'd be easier to replace if god forbid I made a mistake. lol

Woops, that's what I get for not paying too much attention. I was attempting to not spend time in these threads, finding another girl to haunt me. I ran across the pic of Lucy in the other thread when I was looking for something and once again was struck with pangs of longing. Right now I'm trying to keep my focus on Kos-Mos, Momo, and Lucas so they can be taken care of/finished by Fall, then I still have my other customs to complete after that. I also have to mentally ban myself from the marketplace threads as well because there are just too many temptations.

Yeah, Alice is looking better at decent res than I expected--her lips have more definition than Sasara, Mio, or Lucy, the other o-mouth girls. Still, I *think* I'm probably safe, as her face as a whole is too long/narrow to be Homura like I would want her to be. Hopefully owner photos and repaints don't make me change my mind.

Nah, I've sold the head at this point. I was more talking about the overall letdown feeling when you were looking forward to a faceup and then you have massive thick pink lips.

 

I still like the 05 head a lot, but part of me just would rather get a Kyoko who was a white skin 05.

Her lips remind me of Mariko. They definitely aren't just the o mouth because they are much more sculpted then Manaka, Mio, Sasara, Sakuno or Lucy. That's one thing I love a lot about her.

Alice is amazing! I am gone over both the dolls for this event. It's really poorly timed for me though, I don't expect to be able to enter for either

Wow I think I am safe from the dollies but Def. NOT from ANY of the clothes. Those baseball uniforms are friggen SEXAY and holy crap I want them all so bad.
