masahiiro Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) Finally got my hands on some eyes and a mdd sized body, though it is a obitsu 40. Got my strobes as well as backdrop too. (≧∇≦)/ The neck piece is a pain in the ass to remove at the start. Now It feels much better. Nevertheless, I still don't like their neck piece so I did a little mod so as to accept DD heads much easier. This yukata is amazing. The texture, the detail, it is simply amazing. Got bored, so took a few photos using my strobes and backdrop. Didn't really get the effect I want from the backdrop but I guess it is still fine. (╯︵╰) Gotta try again. SisterKyoya Posted February 15, 2013 She's really cute and I love that hair color! I was curious what kind of neck mod you did. I have an Obitsu 45cm and got so frustrated with the neck piece (even after using a longer screw) that I attached Rainie's head on with sewing elastic. I had to unscrew part of where the neck connects into the body skeleton and took the piece out leaving the holes that the elastic was looped through. A couple of beads inside her head hold everything together, but if it isn't tied super tight her head gets floppy especially with her long/heavy hair. I need a better long-term solution. On the plus side though, I love the wider range of movement the head has with the Obitsu neck joint combined with the more flexible vinyl bust. ~Sister Kyoya Forum Blog: Badger Pocket Tales (Family story from the beginning) | { Old Family story reboot: Start Here! } Follow me on Twitter, Flickr & Instagram

Milk Posted February 15, 2013 Your Yui is adorable. As if red eyes aren't cute enough, her short hairstyle helps even more. The yutaka gives a nice summer-y mood with its print. home ‣ Victoria Beatrice {DD Beatrice} ▪ DD 2B ▪ DDB 9S ▪ Lavi {TinyFox Murphy} ▪ Mocha {TinyFox Fluffy} ▪ TinyFox Ashley waiting for ‣ DDS Alisaie ▪ DDSB Alphinaud ▪ TinyFox Piercy
baldylox Posted February 16, 2013 So very pretty! I love the eye and wig combo, you don't often see girls with similar colors like that. I think it works really well on her! And the yukata is also really nice looking, where did you get it? I'm going to need some MDD sized yukatas/kimonos soon. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

It isn't great but still slightly better than the obitsu where you have to unscrew and rescrew if one have to change head. It isn't complete yet. Gonna do some other mod to make the neck piece tighter. gotta think. >.< What a cutie! I love her red hair! Accompanied with those red eyes! (≧∇≦) Your Yui is adorable. As if red eyes aren't cute enough, her short hairstyle helps even more. The yutaka gives a nice summer-y mood with its print. I cut abit myself. To tell you the truth, there is not much difference as compare to when I first got it. Wanna learn how to style a wig. So very pretty! Actually, it isn't a MDD sized yukata. Did some minor mod also. =3 Can't tell right? Her face is so cute!!! She was made from littleberries and help from mitsuki! Really must thank both of them in helping me create Yui! She is so adorable! That yukata is beautiful! Thanks!~ I finally got myself a pair of eyes!
otakusan Posted February 17, 2013 Wow, that's a really strong color wig, but it looks very good on Yui chan

masahiiro Posted February 17, 2013 So then I would assume that the Cool Cats neck piece would work for this too? I wondered about that... ~Sister Kyoya Not really. I have a coolcat neck piece and I would not damage it for a mod. My old ddii neck piece is broken so I just took parts of it to mod. Really hard to explain but it is kinda like removing parts from ddii neck piece and joint them together. Once I complete it, I'll show how to make. Quite an easy mod actually
