Jadzia Maid outfit is almost complete! All I have left to sew is the pannier, apron, and cuffs.

It's SO nice to have an outfit for DDdy that isn't revealing.

 

The LA Kings season may have earlier this evening, but Neris will still cheer them on.

 

Was taking some shots of Agatha because she got new shoes, but evidently she didn't have much patience for photos today, and zapped the camera with the sonic screwdriver I found at Phoenix Comicon.

Poofie, Agatha looks so cool in that photo! I love that outfit on her. But that sonic driver thing looks suspiciously like a magic wand to me.... I think she might be using magic and just calling it technology because she WANTS it to be tech.

Thanks! Most of the other shots I took yesterday were blurry messes and/or had junk in the background, so that was a particularly lucky shot.

 

I think, for your safety, I'd better not relay that statement to either of my girls. Agatha's convinced that magic isn't real, and Nanoha's experience leads her to consider magic as a form of technology, so they'd both have reason to be unhappy with you.

Ha ha! I figured Nanoha was all about magic so she'd be the opposite and embrace that while Agatha wouldn't stand for it at all. Funny how they differ on opinions of magic and tech.... my Rei embraces both since she's seen both firsthand. She doesn't fully *understand* magic yet but she knows it exists due to Mashiro being here. So that might make for a lively discussion if Rei, Nanoha and Agatha ever had one.

Yeah, they have pretty different perspectives on that topic. Then again, their points of view are different on several other things as well--probably most noticeably how they think of other people. Nanoha firmly believes that there's good in everyone, even if you have to pretty much blow them up in order to get them to see it. Agatha, on the other hand, is downright paranoid, suspects nearly everyone is out to use her, and gives her trust grudgingly at best. I sometimes think the only reason she has any trust for me is because she's basically living with me rent-free.

 

That would be an interesting discussion. I think that if it was just Rei and Nanoha, things would probably go swimmingly; Nanoha's actually a magic teacher when she's not out saving the world, and her mathematics-based magic style would definitely be up Rei's alley. Having Agatha in on it though, would engender a lot of snarky comments and eye rolling. XD

So I actually had her posed up on my jewelry stand without a secure stand and she had fallen. You would think I'd freak out, but instead I was like "She looks so beautiful that I have to take a picture!"

 

This is exactly how she looked after she fell off my jewelry stand onto the floor. It looks like she's saying "Oh me? Don't worry I'm fine!" And she was fine since it wasn't a very long fall and it was on carpet Her beautiful new skirt was made by the wonderful chibinezumi!
