I've never seen a Mai with green eyes or hair before, it's really an amazing look for her. It's always great to see pics of Mai, I still feel there aren't enuff of them around. foo Posted April 4, 2015 I really love Mai, I'm surprised she's not more popular. You've made her look great too ^^ The one sunny day on my return trip via Japan, I decided to go to the Philosopher's Walk in Kyoto to see the cherry blossoms. It's BUSY there, but I hadn't had a chance to take a single photo of Melty on the trip (other than in hotel rooms), so I was determined to try Melty Sakura by bodolza, on Flickr So yeah, I sat there for a helluva long time taking photos of a doll while a ton of people walked by. I was nervous but damnit, I wanted to do it A lot of people REALLY liked Melty though, and some people would just come up and stare at her. There were a few giggles but nothing that felt condescending. When I first set her up a lady possibly from England or something was really taken with her, and chatted with me about it. A lot of people thought she was cute & sweet (uh, because she totally is, if you haven't seen a DD before she's quite a sight) so I didn't have the guts to put the military style cap on, which creates a very different impression I was actually trying to take photos from the back which didn't need the cap, I'm going to reprocess that when I get home. I think there was only one girl (maybe ten years old) who recognized Senbonzakura, but didn't say anything because of the language barrier. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I recently got a new wig for Chihaya and since I got a pair of new eyes as well for her yesterday I figured I should take a few pictures.
