If you'd like to try for one without ordering from China, a number of sellers on Etsy have them. Search for "American Girl laptop" and a bunch of results turn up. I'm not sure which size variant(s) you will find, but some of them are the ones that are mirrors anyway.

Here's the "MirrorBook Air" one shipped from Illinois. Price may be more than from China but I haven't researched that.

Yeah it’s $15 more. And shipping is free. I’d just wait the 1-2 months for it from China. 
 

But thank you for the idea. I’m trying to find a tablet the same size. I can only find 1/12 scale tablets. I’ll check Etsy. Don’t know why I always forget that. Otherwise I’ll just use the laptop as a “tablet.” The front has an Apple on it lol. My drooling Jibril needs a tablet to drool over.

I haven't found a 1/3 tablet but surely someone has one.

Just my own bias, but I don't trust sellers on Aliexpress and won't buy from there. Probably added to by the really poor experience I had ordering from Taobao.

Wait. The big one was fast. The small one took a long time. Nvm. It was like 1 month for the big one. Comes in a small fake box that says MirrorBook Air, but the actual laptop itself says “MacBook Air” right where it’s supposed to be, just like my real one haha. So does the small one.😂

I might be able to help, I've gotten a couple of those small makeup mirrors in the past, they make great props! you can find them on ebay, they ship from the US too.

There used to be a 1:3 scale Sony Vaio variant out there too, That's the one I use for my girls a lot but I can't seem to find it now. 😕

That’s not how it works. Here they are, bipolaring at you, as their faces suggest. (Clearly the sculpts are made to be when viewing Subaru, alone).

Forgot to add: without both, you can’t regularly or easily take pictures like that. Also, while it’s understandable because of COVID-19, it kinda sucks: Sakura Con is delayed until next year.

In truth I've been thinking about getting ram ever since I first saw another member's one that he created before the official DD was even out! 😅 I think ram just appealed to me more because of the adorable pouty face. 🥰

I was planning out my Ram and Rem customs earlier last year. By the time I was ready to buy, they announced officials... I still lack Emilia and will probably have to splurge to buy her...

Can’t believe Ram and Rem officials were released just before I got them made custom. So much better official.

I’m also thinking of doing a custom from the Witch’s Cult with the Unseen Hands. The face up would be insane. I’d get the head customized to where it looks like their eyes are bulging with the indents in their skin. Like this girl. One of Petelgeuse’s Ten Fingers. 

She’s certainly crazy. If you look up the original Petelgeuse he’s even crazier. I may do him if I can find a proper head sculpt. Otherwise I do her. It would make a good picture with her Subaru Emilia Rem and Ram. I’m working on a Subaru right now.

Honestly I only want an official Jibril from No Game No Life, more than anything, and I’m almost done with her. Face and eyes are made. Wig too. Just need to finish the outfit and tattoos on the body. But from Re:Zero, one of my favorite stories, I want all of these characters. 
 

I still need to make Petelgeuse and finish Subaru. Then get Emilia. 

You basically have to get Rem it you have Ram. I get how people are attracted to one sculpt or the other. A lot of people love both. They’re two of the best imo. But as there is team Ram and team Rem, same goes for their DDs lmao. Best to join both and avoid the drama of fanboy contests lmao. Plus best of both worlds. 
 

Then there’s the never ending desire to complete the twins. You’ll be consumed by it like those who pick up a cultist’s Gospel lmao. 
 

And you will buy her. It’s inevitable. It’s only a matter of when, not if or why.
