I've only been to two Kyoto ones (Big Sight scares me); they had photo spaces there but I don't remember anything like a cloakroom （￣～￣＇）Other than the photo spaces, there didn't seem to be anything to do with one (･･') I was bored last night and made a thing. So I put her back in her default wig. Imo she's pretty cute in it, so it might stay on her for the time being. I don't think I posted any of my photos from my trip here (･･') I went to the photo spot at Doll Point in Akihabara with Rin, where I realized there's a reason they still sell dolls with the non-rotating wrist joints, Oops by bodolza, on Flickr she couldn't hold the parasol in any other position (－‸ლ) I spent some time futzing with that then tried this, At Doll Point by bodolza, on Flickr I processed these images on my laptop while on vacation; the color gamut on that screen is comparable to a pickle so I really didn't know how the photos actually looked. The strong spotlights there made any custom lighting hard, later I went to SEN's store (which took forever to find...). They had some really good photo booths where you're free to go to town with your own lighting (flashes and stuff), but I was too tired to bother. At the end of the trip I stayed in Miyazu by Amanohashidate, which was a decent spot to take photos, Rin by bodolza, on Flickr Rin (2) by bodolza, on Flickr I actually tried to take photos of her when I was in Kyoto, but when I got to it I realized I needed to get a lot better at impromptu posing (~_~') I spent a little time practicing going through some poses the night before taking the ones above, just to knead my brain. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Monty Posted June 3, 2017 Heh, shoulda bought her some new wrist joints in the store. I had to do the same for my Rin but that's because her peace hands got stuck on her wrists and I simply couldn't remove them so just bought the new wrists in store because dammit I came all that way to use the photo booth and didn't want her to only have peace hands in all the pics. Those more movable wrist joints make it easier to remove the hands though, cos they're slightly differently shapes. foo Posted June 12, 2017 Oh ya, at Dolpa Volks was selling cookies as part of the One For All charity stuff (uh, I think it was part of that). They came in this little Komame box/bag, Inside were simple cookies with Dollfie related things printed on them, for example, Heh, shoulda bought her some new wrist joints in the store. Hmm, I'm not sure if I made that clear but the problem is that the rotating wrist joints can't hold weight, they just rotate on their axis and let the umbrella fall. I wanted her to hold it on her shoulder or something, at least They don't sell the non-rotating wrists, you'd have to buy whole arms. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I actually haven't had the problem you describe so that's odd. Then again mine don't typically hold 'heavy' things...although that umbrella doesn't seem like it should be heavy either. I laughed at the panty cookies though. How did they taste? It comes with the ThreeZero 1/6 scale figure The fig itself is currently holding Minutemen flag... so rifle had to go somewhere buut oooh man, the details on this things are ..just... wow!
