Sorry for two in a row but when my friend visits we always put Tahquil in a new outfit. She is thrilled Tahquil now has a 'friend' to keep her company.

It's from the Azone doll "Lilia: the Traditional Grimoire". First time I've ever bought a fullset doll, and it was just for Mei to have the outfit

I've had Sakuya in this for quite a while now, but wasn't able to come up with a convincing setting for photography. I finally just did a bunch of test shots to try out angles & lighting, and WTH I'll go with this, I want her to wear other stuff now ｏ( ><)o

There was a doll show recently in my metro, and we had a doll meet at the same time. Wasn't really much there for our DD, or BJD really at all. But picked up a pair of glassed for a quarter. They seem to go with Saber best.

 

 

All I know is she keeps getting dressed in rather elegant looking outfits, or more like she makes them look elegant or sophisticated at least. She has that kind of air about her.

That's a good question. I guess it's about time to take them off and see as she's had them on for a couple weeks now. I washed them at least twice if not three times first. They are really tight to get on. Which has made me wonder if I get DDdy or SD16 jeans, which Volks has a lot of, would they fit better. But I like the look of girls in jeans, so I own a few pair and try to get my hands on any of the very rare ones Volks makes for DDIIIs (They have made a lot for DDdy.).

Oh no! =( was the staining really bad or minimal? that's ridiculous... even after 3 washes it stains? I tried saran wrapping legs before putting tight dark clothes (specially dark colored thigh-high socks) and also putting the tape that came with Miku on the reverse part of clothes that I know will definitely stain and seemed to have worked so far... Now I think washing it twice or three times is not enough I hope you're able to de-stain her

Iori's size is really great, just enough smaller to make her more playful with.

I'm loving the size. I hope Volks does a standard model DDp someday.

Seconding that, everyone's making me want my own Iori now.

 

One of these days I should make Bri her own thread but I cant be bothered at the moment.

The combination of the Snow Miku wig and the Candypop outfit looks great! The soft pastels go very well together.

 

Having finally moved in to a new apartment, I found that one of the furniture pieces I bought from the previous tenant makes a good substrate for a tiny dolls' room. Mei and Eevee decorated it with an AmiAmi poster and some miniature string lights.

It's sort of an "experimental" shot, since I didn't plan out the lighting or anything. I thought the cool rainy-day light through the window gave the scene a strange, dreamlike atmosphere that I found interesting and wanted to attempt to capture.

They're a chain, not sure if your area has one yet? They're kinda like F21 or H&M in low quality, just even cheaper in price

 

They sell lots of rings that make perfect DD accessories too! Like the moon/star rings make neat bracelets AND hair charms

Wife found this crown on the sidewalk outside our house. After leaving it on a short wall for people to find if they were looking for it for a week, it came inside. It didn't take long for it to get claimed.

 

 

Sad thing is as I was walking down the hall with Saber, her glasses fell off, and guess who broke them by stepping on them. Sigh, should of bought more than one pair.

Another random photo. I don't care much to have my photo taken, so my wife tries to find ways to sneakily take mine. Last night Keiko came to my rescue with a perfect photobomb.
