Family Photo by mintycafe, on Flickr I've decided to take this picture now because I've got all the girls I've initially wanted when I started my DD collecting. I started in September 2011, and my first daughter arrived in December. At five daughters, they came to me from the youngest to the oldest. As of June 2012, DD family is Noumi, Mariko, Alice (06), Saber (Extra), and Saber (Alter). It has been a pleasure to be with my girls as they give me great joy. I have no idea how I came to be somewhat obsessed with them but you guys are right. Once you have one, you can learn to love and love and love and you can't stop giving. Congrats! Thank you both. I was starting to get a bit iffish, since it was a coin toss (5-3 result for a best of ten btw), between Rise and Cirno, and them cirno's looking a bit too cute for comfort as people had gotten them home. But after taking the few shots that I have: She does have her own charm ...I've even have sort of gotten used to the eyes, although they are still a bit odd... but I guess we have Shigenori Soejima to thank for them. Had several that looked decent, but had a couple that really popped out at me. The interesting thing is that the different eye/skin color really makes a difference in how things look on her vs. the original Saber. You're right, she does look better with different eyes, especially with her default wig--the contrast between the green and the brown really makes them pop.
