DD Forum Easter Events!

Hello!!

 

It is time to start thinking about our next holiday event!

 

As per usual, there will be two events, one that costs less, and one that costs a little more.

Please read this entire post carefully to find out about both events.

 

If you have questions, please ask, because sometimes I overlook adding an important detail!!!!

 

EVENT 1: Easter Basket Exchange

 

Timeline for this event:

 

RIGHT NOW: Choose a girl to participate in this event. Post in this thread with a list of your girl's likes and dislikes and let me know that you would like to join!

 

If you have not participated in past events, please make sure to PM me with your address! This is VERY IMPORTANT! If you have participated in past events, I already has your address, unless it has changed. If it has changed, please let me know

 

FRIDAY, MARCH 8th: Final day to enter the Easter Basket Exchange.

 

What is expected of Basket Exchange participants:

Create a basket, taking into consideration your partners likes and dislikes.

Please spend $5 minimum.

Handmade items are absolutely wonderful to include!!

 

Friday, APRIL 5th Ship your Easter Basket Exchange Gift to your partner no later than this date.

 

Yes, I know this deadline is actually after Easter... but I felt people might need 4 weeks to prepare. Anyone who has their basket ready sooner is more than welcome to ship it off earlier

 

EVENT 2: Easter Egg Hunt

 

 

For this event, the timeline is much more simple.

 

To participate, simply take a picture of your girls, and make sure an Easter Egg is hidden in the picture.

 

Then post that picture to this thread, so everyone can join in the Easter Egg Hunt!

Feel free to make these as silly, hard, comical, insane or easy as you like! XD

Yes, this happens... that's why I try to have events at least semi often... I don't expect everyone can participate in all of them... so I try to keep it so there are quite a few to choose from

My Sonico likes everything related to her idol Super Sonico , she likes pink , flowers , music , dancing ...and everything that is cute

A number of people go all out crafting handmade items, which can take a while, and others simply need time to save up and buy whatever they want to send, so short deadlines are frequently missed in these kinds of events. Also, I know a number of us work in retail, so we tend to work a lot more hours around the holidays, as well as trying to fit in extra demands for time from family, so it can get kind of crazy adding an additional holiday event, as well.

Yup! This! There have also been issues with International packages, even when shipped on time, not arriving anywhere near the holiday date... so I figured this way everyone knows the packages will arrive after the holiday, so there will be no nervous "It's the day before Easter and mine isn't here yet!" issues.

EDIT:

Elliot likes dogs, espically beagles, anything woodsy(trees, flowers, creatures), birds, the colors red and pink, feathers, books, popcorn, sugar cookies and pizza

 

She dislikes anything black, cats (She is allergic), dust, anything slimely, wild boars, light pollution, confrontation, scary movies, blood, gore, violence, pigs, pork(Bacon, ham, etc.), and fire

That's great! You can start posting your egg hunt pictures whenever you like

And just as a side note, it is not required that you make anything yourself for the Easter basket exchange... it can all be store bought

Lucy likes the the following: the color red, flowers, aliens (she thinks the x files is a dobleepentary), hats, crafts and Pavarotti (Ishe said his voice was soothing). Dislikes, not much of anything except brocolli which she does not care for.
