Does anyone have one of the old DD bodies that are strung??? I might get one for a floating head..I will get to see it before i buy it but was wondering what you guys thought...dolldude

Yup, I have one but I don't use it anymore since I upgraded my Rei's body to a DDII. You can see comparison pics here:

For a starter body, it's not too bad. But if you've messed with a DDII body or newer, you'll definitely like how easy it is to move and pose the newer bodies instead of the DDI. They work well for sitting positions and standing as long as you have a doll stand to support it. Otherwise they are very much like resin dolls and tend to fall over if left on their own.

Personally, I'd go for either Obitsu or the newer bodies. Just the fact you don't have to restring them is like...a godsent gift or something! I'd created quite a few dents(?) on a few doll parts by trying to restring certain parts of them like hands of feet

Thanks Billy and Shailara thats very helpful..I have quite a few DDs so if i can get the body at a very good low price i think it would be kind of cool to own one..I dont pose my dolls a lot anyway, they sit or stand...mike
