OMG It's Rainie! ...And Ralph?

It has been way too long since I've been able to really post anything new about our family, but now I finally can!

 

Rainie has finally returned from her spy training in Germany. Hopefully she wasn't to big of a loudmouth at Anouc's place. If she was I hope someone dunked her head in the snow. Sometimes she needs it.

 

 

Rainie: "Is the picture done? Great! I want some of my Christmas cookies I stashed in the back yard for emergencies! A little dirt never hurt anyone!"

 

Along the way of getting Rainie ready for her travels, she pulled a surprise on me. I'm starting to learn that when the DD suggest body swapping for "fun", I really shouldn't allow it. At the time I was struggling over if I really wanted to completely remove the blushing I had done on Rainie's head so Anouc could paint it. Two weeks went by and I just couldn't do it because I really loved it. Rainie decided she needed to make up my mind for me. With her blushed head on Tama's body, Rainie invented her own brother Ralph. She insists that he was there all along but we just forgot to adopt him at the same time. Thanks Rainie.

 

 

In the end Rainie had a new head ordered and Ralph has been hanging out at our place just trying to decide what he thinks of it. His faceup will get done this summer when I have time and he will end up on an Obitsu 45 body (no hybrids this time!) From what I know so far, Ralph is a bit of a weirdo/oddball who seems fascinated with aliens, laid back, and seems pretty stoked to do anything. I just hope he doesn't blow up bananas in the microwave. He is in the same grade as Tama, making him a year younger than Rainie. Tama-chan so far has refrained from commenting about having a new brother unexpectedly, but he does seem a little concerned about having to share clothes.

 

I'm really looking forward to getting an 01 boy done and see how he turns out!

He he no no she was a real sweetheart, i think she´s sometimes a little bit shy when she is for visit in another home ... She was outnumbered ))

And I guess a bit of dirt on a cookie couldn't hurt... though I don't think it would taste as good

Ah yes, I forgot the part about being outnumbered. She probably decided to work on her infiltration techniques.

Anouc did more than an amazing job. I can't wait to take her to school next week with Tama, partially hoping that it will be on Tuesday so I can drag them with my to all of my classes. This time I can use my presentation for an excuse not to stuff them in a bag and have them sitting out. (Yes Anouc, I can't wait to show off your work!)

I really don't know how Anouc can get her lines to be so smooth, but it makes her work stunning.

 

Ralph was completely unexpected, but once he was there I just couldn't get him out of my head. I think Raven's going to have a lot of fun with him too. I'm just way too overprotective with Tama to let Raven do much with him without me going into obsessive controlling mode. I just can't help it with Tama, but Ralph I'm expecting to be more of a 'bumps and bruises' type boy. Now if I can just figure out what to do about his hair so I'm not stuck with another bald boy...

 

If I just had a few more bodies at the moment, the complete image of the growing family would be even more shocking! I can hardly believe it myself! Partially they have been the incentive to stick with school and do well, but also the reward as well. College honestly has been far more than I can handle so I've had to make the choice to take next year off. In some ways I really want to take the classes, but it's just the pace that's been killer for me. The other day I realized that whenever Kos-Mos gets here, I'll actually have time to spend with her as long as I want and not have to wait for the summer after to have real time. I still feel really bad that Naiomi was completed at the beginning of Fall quarter, but since then I've had no time to work on her stories or anything and she's just had to wait. It is hard not to be excited about how much time I can spend with all of them and Raven next year. Finally I can get more sewing projects done!

 

Knowing Rainie, she would just take the flavor of the dirt as part of what distinguishes her field rations apart from normal food. Of course even normal for her is subjective... she eats pickles on her pizza.

Now I'm trying not to stress about the 'furisode sleeve yukata' that Rainie and Tama are wearing... and what my Sensei will mention about it. The only thing I can say in my defense is I made them last year and barely had a clue what I was doing, and merely used the fabric I had, not what is appropriate for a komono. I know much better now.
