Speech Prep... And Naiomi's no help.

 

Rainie: "If I flap my arms hard enough I could fly in this thing! It's streamlined except for this lump in the front"

 

Mommy: *sighs* "Rainie, the obi is on backwards and its crooked. What were you doing in Yuriko's kimono to get it all wrinkled? Now that has to be ironed too..."

 

Tamayuki: "So Mommy, you want me to stand here just like this?"

 

Naiomi: *looks like she is about to pass out from a hyperactive nosebleed* "Little brother... in a furisode kimono... and cute girly wig... Oh my. Brain melting from overload..."

 

Mommy: "Don't be getting any ideas Naiomi. Tama-chan doesn't want to end up with a closet of frilly dresses that just happen to be in his size. Well, Rainie either for that matter. What books have you been checking out from the library??"

I have to give a speech on kimonos next week and needed visuals. And yet another quarter where I connect DD to my homework in blatant ways! These two were the only ones that could wear them and have them properly fitted. (Yuriko's boobs popping open the front is not correct!) Tama-chan isn't complaining about being dressed as a girl because the alternative was to have Bree wear his kimono. He sweetly informed me that it was his kimono and no one else was going to wear it. Plus he is just happy to help and get to go on a field trip too! I seriously didn't want to explain why a boy was in a furisode... undermining my attempt to vaguely educate my classmates. I was hoping that Naiomi would be a bit more helpful however...

Tama-chan!!!! You are way too adorable in that kimono. You and your Momma need to give a speech on kimonos in our dorm too! I'm sure Kaylus will be more than happy to let you stay with him in his room. He says you can stay in Yuuto's room and sleep in Yuuto's bed if you want, except that Marius is using that so you just have to stay with him in his room instead.

Oh goodness, I better not let him see this or he may never wear boy clothes ever again! I do still find it very funny that even in this outfit and Bree's wig he still looks like a boy to me! I think it has to do with the simple lines on his eyes and that there are no 'lashes' below his eyes. I just hope no one asks me about it. I also hope Mikiko Sensei doesn't remember what he looks like or that he's a boy, because that would be very awkward!
