I made the mistake of popping in here and then made another mistake of visiting hobbysearch... I ended up ordering the Classic Alice Cheshire cat Aika poyo mouth version ww

 

It's tempting to order more pure neemo, but I'm going to wait for Aika to arrive so I can see if I like them or just like admiring them :'D

Hey all! some news from Azone. Azone will also be restocking all suites ala mode dolls in stores! So get your wallets if there are some girls in the series you've been pining for.

 

I'm so excited because I will finally be able to get a peach pie maya after all! The second news is Sahra is getting a special new years doll direct store limited equipped with the cutest sakura pattern kimono and peach pink geta I have ever seen! >w< The doll itself really isn't anything we haven't seen before but she is still quite cute.

 

 

Wow Minty I swear we have the same taste! And yes Koron has such cute little kitty lips :3

Aww so lucky!! shes so adorable next to lycee, they make a great team and compliment each other very well with their matching twin tails! Are there any other girls you like in the series? I'm also a fan of Yuzuha strawberry anmitsu, Sahra white and normal strawberry shortcake and Alisa chocolate parfait. Haha all the twin tails! XD

lol so it's like a black with a blue shine then? sounds so pretty! I wish that they made her eyes a lighter shade of blue to contrast her hair a little better, but over all shes still quite cute. I imagine that purples, reds, white, silvers/greys, black and all shades of blue will suite her well.

 

^^ did you get her off of mandarake? and yes thank you ! I'm surprised because normally I always get out-bidded and ebay never has good deals on these type of dolls >_<

 

That's not awful I think it is so cuute~~ it's so cool to know we will be having the same pair eventually. Maybe we could even do some photostory one day when I get a better camera that they have dopplegangers lol I think that would be pretty funny / interesting.

 

I just thought of the character when I saw her : ] the colors of navy blue hair with blue eyes. But yes I imagine its much darker in person!! Aww man her eyebrows must be really orange @_@' well atleast her eyebrows are hidden under the bangs.

 

BTW I am curious...do you have the azone hair spray? considering buying some if it's worth it or not.

 

Oh I feel you! I used to have pullips too... so I understand! I just don't wish to make a purchasing mistake and get too big or too small , it would be really hard to re-sell such tiny shoes D:

 

But I guess i'll have to experiment and let you know! from the looks of it their feet do look wider then pullips?

 

@Ayuuya - Aww congrats! : D you definately got a good one there, Cheshire Aika is soooo adorable! I think she's probably the prettiest Aika ever released. I'm sure you will love her, and if not i'd be happy to take her off your hands ;P LOL just kidding! Nah, i'm sure you'll really like her a lot. They are easier to buy clothes for then DD and cheaper to maintain. What's the harm in having at

least one of these little ones?

Welcome to the dark side! There is no escaping. I hope you'll post pictures of your Aika once she arrives! She's a cutie. x3 They're a lot of fun to have around. It's nice to have some little ones to play with. They're much easier to transport as well!

Suites ala mode dolls are being restocked? Please, please say it's not happening now. Not with Dolpa 32 coming up!

From that series, I'm also a fan of - Mint Chocolate ice Lycee, Chocolate Parfait Alisa, strawberry anmitsu Yuzuha, Strawberry Shortcake Sahra. All twin tails except for Lycee. Pretty much all of the same ones that you like. xD

There's a Mint Chocolate ice Lycee that I have been eyeing on Mandarake, but I guess I should wait since they're being restocked. It seems like most of the exclusives in that series all have twin tails.

 

I got her and Maya from Mandarake. Maya was second hand, but in good condition other than her loose shoulder. Lycee's hair is the same colour as the dark ribbons on her dress and apron. It's not black at all; it's a very dark blue. When I hold her in front of my monitor, it lights up some of her hair and gives of a very bright blue. It's too bad I can't get the camera to capture it. :c Her eyes do blend in with her hair, but her outfit does contrast the darkness of her hair really well with the light blue.

 

A photostory would be fun. I also need a better camera. My phone really isn't the best thing to use.

 

I don't have the Azone hairspray, but I do have the Volks water wax. Their hair is much easier to maintain than a DD's. Maya's sidebangs annoy me though and need to be fixed as they're not straight and curve upwards. That's more of a hot water fix than a water wax fix.

 

Pullip feet are longer and thinner than Azone's. I decided to try it and I could not get the Pullip shoe onto my Azone. The Azone shoe did fit the Pullip though. ._.

 

I forgot to mention that I have Classic Alice Tick-Tock Rabbit Himeno Osumashi Mouth ver. on pre-order too. I pre-ordered her last month? I don't remember, but she is supposed to ship "Winter 2014" and that's nearly over. I haven't received the email from Ami yet.

I'm not sure when it's happening exactly. I only know that the year of the sheep Lipu and the new years Sahra are being stocked at around Jan 1st.

 

lol you don't like the Lycee that much? XD I could understand, well compared to the other girls her colors are not as unique. ^^

 

Yeah it does doesn't it? I'm surprised there was only two short hair girls too. They should do a sweets series for the excute series too.. I think that would be so adorable!! Yes i'd probably wait for the restock. No sense in over paying : ] I'm happy I wont have to over pay so much on some of these girls, some of the 2nd hand prices are just crazy in my opinion. It's like that with DD too but come on these are much smaller and non customize-able.

Is the water wax worth it? I've been thinking of getting it for my resins and future DD's. Hmm is that so.. that might be a pain then finding shoes for pure neemos that fit? I was thinking of ordering some from mimiwoo but boots? maybe they would have a higher chance of fitting? .-.

 

oooh so cute! Himeno is so lovely, I hope you will enjoy her too haha. With all these girls you should get a boy next ! are you more of a fan of Aoto, Sorane, or Yuuta? I think I want two Aoto (as twins) and then one each of Yuuta and Sorane. The two Aoto will be the arguing little twin brothers of Lycee maybe and have a friend zoned crush on the Maya LOL. It's a shame there's no Sahra's sized males or less shota like ones out yet. I hope they will in the future. Don't get me wrong love the shota's but it would just be nice to have some more mature males too. I think after I get the girls, I want a detective boys Aoto first.

I actually prefer mint chocolate Lycee's colour combination over the others, since most of the other ones have red and pink on them. The Lycee I was watching on Mandarake is gone. D: Along with the twin tails, it seems most of the unnatural hair colour girls (in general, not just this series) are usually exclusives and limited. :c Azone, why?

 

At least some of the second hand prices aren't as bad as some of the DDs. But they're still crazy considering the point you brought up of them not being as customize-able. Being able to change the hands really doesn't justify the prices.

 

Ex Cute would look fantastic as a sweet series or even dessert! One could be a pudding, another could be a cake... I want a peppermint themed one.

 

Yes, I took the photo with my phone. ^^; I have an older, real camera too, but I don't like it. I think my phone takes better pictures than it does.

 

I used the water wax to try to smooth some fly-aways down on my DD's wig and it did help a bit. Azone hair is a lot different and I don't know how well it would work on them, or if it would even be a good idea to use it on them.

 

Was it the Blythe shoes that you might order? Those might work!

 

I really like Aoto and there's a EX Cute - March Tea Party Hatter Aoto being released soon, which is not the best of timing. :c I definitely want to get one of him at some point. Bonus points if he has hair that is an unnatural colour.

Good luck to your Lycee with having to deal with two twins in the future. She's going to have her hands full with those two.

I'm glad that somebody else got the Peach Pie Maya from Mandarake, I was sorely tempted. I'm trying to limit myself to just Raili and Mia, but... I did see a great deal on Mio so I got the regular one on the way

Not sure I can resist the suites girls if they are re-released, although it was pretty tough to get them the first go round so maybe I'm safe regardless.

I own Kobato Hasegawa and she is my first "doll" I own as an adult, lol.

Hey there all! ^^ woow looks like it got a LOT more active here! Haha. So sorry it took so long to get back here. Well I did actually write a reply on the 25th however I went to post and my login time expired and I lost it all lol. So I've been a tad lazy and had to wait until I had some more free time to post. In any case my lovely Lycee Blueberry Ice came in! She is just gorgeous. I actually like her more then I thought I would. She has a more mature feel to her.

 

Also my boyfriend surprised me with a Maya Peach Pie which was the equivalent to my azone 'unicorn' and apparently she had been here hiding for a month from me ! :'3 so it was a really lovely surprise and I love her to bits<3<3 I think i'm azone content for now need clothings and care products and such before I feel I can move forward with other dolls XD

 

(unless something super tempting emerges such as a updated re-release of that lovely Miu secret wonderland pink version >w>;; *can dream*). Well anyway a friend of mine was staying over for a few weeks and she is actually afraid of dolls. She finds resin dolls 'creepy' and feels dollfie dreams are creepy too, infact she went into great detail to tell me how she thinks If I get a ranka doll it's going to eat her and my azone dolls in her sleep ; and apparently she had a dream of that while she was over.

 

So I was surprised when she held my two girls she actually kind of fell in love seeing them in person! I had shown her pictures over the past year of them but she wasn't 100 percent sure how much she liked them also considering their price, she was kind of iffy to say the least.

 

So to my surprise on Christmas when opening them up, she felt the need to chime 'Honestly, I wouldn't mind if she tried to kill me in my sleep' LMAO! XD and while she was over we decided to snag her a Himeno witch of starlight for 75.00 off of mandarake! But there were some issues with it not mentioned on there like some major staining, Alssooo I didn't realize that the witch series came with such an outdated body? the dolls arms fell off literally as soon as you picked it up or even walked across the room with it O.o;; well it makes me happy we can share a doll hobby together. I'm learning new things about these dolls all the time. Anyway , it will be awhile before I have any DDs to share so for now I'll just be showing off these two!!

And yeah I agree Minty, it sucks that azone doesn't release more fantasy hair color dolls. --; I really want a purple hair, it would be nice to even see some jewel tone hair colors dosn't even have to all be pastels or shocking neon sort of colors wouldn't that be cool? Maybe to see some other sort of hair styles too. And for them to not be limited. They could even do a neon series! LOL I bet that would actually kinda be cool..hm. I like your idea of a peppermint maid. I wish they would make more wild/adventurous styled ones. I know I would if I had a doll line ! I would also like more males please , especially taller ones that can fit in with the Sahra's girls >w< but if not..ATLEAST on a S body instead of the XS.. I think Aoto would look okay on a larger body , as cute as they are Sorane and Yuuta would probably be just too shota though haha X3

 

So is anyone here interested in the Kikipop dolls at all? Would be tempted, but I think as far as kinoko juice goes it looks better as resin. I bet the azone version will be better at posing though!

I was excited for KikiPop dolls, just because so many folks have longed for them for ages! So finally they are coming to the masses, and I think Azone will do it right.

But for me...

 

There's a new line of Ex Cute revealed at Doll Show 42, and they are all fabulous~

They are fairytale themed, with some really lovely and detailed costumes.

Of course I will have to get Raili, but the Briar Rose Lien looks SO tempting!

And then the new Sahra's Suites line is all pink themed! Azone sure knows their fans ^_^

I just bought an azone blank head so I can hopefully make my own girl now! But now I'm stuck on what body to get her. The outfits I like the most are in the small and the medium body range. If I get a small body and will medium clothes fit ok? Or will they look funny because of the size difference?

Oh, a thread for neemos! ♥ I'm liking this forum more and more, haha. xD I've been hoping to find a place where I could talk with fellow neemo fans. I tried the pureneemo forum, but it doesn't seem to be active anymore. ;__; Blogs and flickr are good for one-on-one conversations, but I really like forums where it's easier for more people to chime in. So, I suspect that I'll be visiting this thread often. :3

I currently have nine pureneemo girls and one Lil' Fairy at home. And one more incoming pureneemo (the Osaka 6th anniversary Mia with the cute bunny outfit coordinate - took me a while to hunt her down on Y!J for a reasonable price). Somehow they keep multiplying... >.<;; But getting into pureneemos made it easier for me to get my first DD girl, since I only had experience with resin BJDs before. I wasn't sure how I'd get along with vinyl dolls (and buying from Y!J and Japanese Amazon seemed a little intimidating at first)... but now I notice that I spend more time on my neemos and DD girl. They are super cute and so much fun! x3 ♥
