Pure Neemo

I was stalking Ami Ami and Hobby search but I think she was gone after a minute. HLJ has been fulfilling all of my Otogi no Kuni orders so I hope Minami's pre order goes smoothly as well.

Still available at nippon-yasan! Its on the front page.. I want her, but with snow miku incoming, I really shouldn't.

I think I got her from HLJ, I don't trust them too much but I did get Briar Rose Lien from them last time so I hope it goes through. HS sold out early and I missed Amiami and CDJapan.

I'm in the same boat as you, I'm so paranoid that they'll suddenly tell me they cant fill my order that if amiami restocks I might preorder another as a backup. If I end up with two Minamis I can pass the preorder to someone else.

But bloody hell, she literally sold out AS I WAS TRYING TO CHECK OUT on amiami. That's never happened to me before. I was refreshing the site for two hours (in the doll category because stuff doesnt appear on the main page immediately), as soon as she appeared i grabbed her and ran to checkout and then it says something like ''not enough stock of an item in your cart''. The total elapsed time from her appearing and me getting that message must have been less than 30 seconds.

 

Apparently some people who got her on amiami got emails saying that there is a chance that all orders wont be filled. I dont know if this is standard for clickwar items on amiami but it makes me really anxious about whether I actually got her on HLJ - the entire site crashed and she was in my cart for a long time before i was able to check out. She was sold out after I got the confirmation email but I'm not sure if she was sold out before I placed the order and me getting her was a glitch thanks to having her in my cart already, or if I got her in the nick of time. Then again, if amiami managed to sell out of her while she was in my cart and wouldnt let me order her, would hlj do the same? I'm gonna be worrying about this till I get an invoice

Maybe they will do preorder as well? Like they did with the alice in wonderland boys and the first kikipop.

Would be awesome, since she was really gone fast.

Not for this series. They haven't done it with any of the dolls in the Otogi no Kuni series except, weirdly, Koron. I dont know why Koron was different, but she's been the only one that had a lengthy preorder and came out several months after that preorder, instead of at the end of the same month with a clickwar over in seconds.

Things like this really make me wonder exactly how many dolls Azone plan to release for her. Do they have less for certain characters, was she just REALLY popular, or both?

Hobby Search sold out just as fast as AmiAmi did; she was gone within two minutes. CDJapan always lists how many they have in stock and they had four dolls available for pre-order.

 

I think it's a combination of her being very popular along with not many dolls being available to order.

My HLJ order still shows up in my open orders on my account overview and I have not received a cancellation email.. hopefully I managed to snag one.

Haven't had the chance to post my Minami here yet. I had to wait till I was in Japan to finally pick her up but I've had her nearly two weeks.

She's seriously beautiful! I was amazed at exactly how floofy her dress is, she has so many panier layers. Everything about her just looks so delicate and pretty, she's definitely the most impressive Pure Neemo I own.

Aaahh, Minami's gorgeous! And I love the look of the all of the different pinks in your photos Torino--very pretty~ Her pink hair and sweet mermaid princess style is definitely my aesthetic but I didn't try to get her since I'm basically trying to do a similar thing with one of my 1/3 girl's outfits.. and she has pink hair too. xD

I've wanted Little Princess Nina since she went on preorder last year, but I didnt get her then because I didnt want to touch the money I had saved for the Japan trip in februay (and to be sure I could afford Kaito) so I had to let her pass. After seeing her sell out everywhere I was getting worried about never getting her for a non ridiculous price (the ones I were seeing on Rakuten were pretty ugh price-wise) but with a great stroke of luck she went up on yahoo auctions for below her RRP. She was even nice enough to wait until I'd already long settled into living in Japan so I wouldn't have to use proxies.

 

To be honest I was still a little on the fence about getting her because of the quality control issues mizya described. Her cute hair is one of my favourite things about her, so I took a big risk in biting the bullet and getting her. But luckily for me she was absolutely fine! I dont know how many of the Nina dolls had that problem with the hair being badly cut, but it looks like mine wasnt one of them. It was kind of messy, but nothing the Azone mist and some brushing couldnt deal with.

 

She's sooooo cute in person and I'm so glad I got her! She's also my first XS girl and hopefully the last Ex Cute I'll get for a while unless any of the unannounced Otogi no Kuni dolls turn out to be irrestible (and Yuta and Aoto could be).

With her more tomboyish look, she makes just as cute a Prince as she does a Princess.

 

...of course this meant I had to try her dress and headband on Yuta and I was surprised how well it suited him.
