Pure Neemo

I have to agree the original characters are better geared than the licensed ones, they tend to have more accessories too. There was an issue with my majokko Raili, the elastic on her petticoat was poorly sewn and snapped the first time I took it off. And I noticed a difference in skin tone between her head and body, but I've seen that's common. Other than that their quality has been pretty good. You do have to worry a bit about stains from dark clothes, but not as much as with DD.

Hahah, yeah, I don't take enough photos of them! I have another custom OC, and Sena who's tough to dress due to her large bust. I also just got Tsukiko, but I'm on the fence about her and haven't taken her out of the box yet :/

I understand though, I ultimately didn't order her because I knew nothing about the anime, and I find I'm really picky about who stays when it comes to character dolls, vs. the Azone Original Characters.

 

I imagine Sena is hard to dress XD

Ahh, I almost bought this set! It's really cute!!!

 

I should never listen to myself when I try to talk myself out of buying Neemo clothes. LOL.

 

I know a lot of people say they're too expensive.... but they fit so well and they're so well made XD

Yeah, it's a bit pricey for the set, but it's well made! And it'd take me ages to sew something like that so I don't mind too much. Amiami.com has a pretty good discount so I tend to pre-order stuff there, then they will group items into a monthly shipment. The downside is that if one item gets back-ordered you end up delaying everything. That's why I just got 8 months worth of neemo goodies at once ^_^;

 

This is my only Azone. She's an ex cute kinoko juice sweet Chiika (or so, puhhh long name..).

I really like her cute face up and haircolor.

I took Raili on my trip to Mexico. I love how easy it is to stow pureneemos in your bag and cart them everywhere! Now if I can just remember to take more photos.

Oh wow, Sena looks impressive with that outfit and Raili shows so much fun in the Mexico photos!

 

I took Alisa and Rise to one convention last year but the poor Alisa appears in no photos except this. She wanted to make friends but I forgot to put her on the bag when other owners' mama chapp showed. So in return I bought a handmade 1/6 dress for her ^^

I've got my first girl headed to me and I'm already looking for another, and justifying it by the fact they can share clothing, and hands (the first doesn't have the extra hands).

 

And of course I justified all of this by wanting a small girl to take to work with me, and on my trip to London, later this year.

They (Azone) actually do sell them normally too... there is usually a few pairs for sale at least once a year.

 

I don't think it's that they're weird about it... I mean, really, most of the girls come with a pair of panties as part of their full set if they have an outfit that warrants it (and heck, even when they have a long skirt and pantyhose, they sometimes still have panties), lol, it's only a few that don't... so I'm thinking it's just not high on their priority list.

 

Panties aren't the only thing they offer via Gashapon... I've seen that they offer little aprons too... so I think it's more of a "What low priced thing can we offer to our customers in the form of Gashapon that we can make collectible?" sort of thing.

 

I'm guessing since they sell their t-shirts for closer to $10, those were deemed too pricey to put in?

I'm not really sure what the price-point range on Gashapon machines in Japan is. XD
