Peanut Butter Cookie Action

Baldylox said he particularly likes peanut butter cookies which prompted my girls to want to make peanut butter cookies...

 

Here is Kan'u. She is innocently looking for the parfait she asked for to be prepared while she was in the bath.

 

In the kitchen, she finds her parfait...

 

...but she also smells peanut butter.

 

"This stuff is pretty good even raw."

 

"No. I should try helping out in the kitchen and start cooking these things."

 

"I think you are supposed to smash them with a fork."

 

Sakuno has come to see what Kan'u is up to.

 

Kan'u: "Sakuno, put on your matching Iron Chef uniform and let's cook these peanut butter cookies."

 

Sakuno: "OK."

 

"While I wait for Sakuno, I will prepare a few dough chunks. Maybe I should chop them up so they cook faster."

 

Kan'u: "Nice uniform."

 

Sakuno: "It's the perfect color."

 

Kan'u: "Alright. Let's try frying these."

 

Kan'u: "We need a frying pan to stir fry them."

 

Sakuno: "Are you sure? I have never heard of yaki-cookies."

 

Kan'u: "I am heading to the stove."

 

Sakuno: "Wait. Godzilla is here. He says he can help."

 

Kan'u: "Perfect. Do your thing, Godzilla!"

 

Kan'u: "These will cook in no time."

 

Sakuno: "I don't think they will taste good if they are burnt to a crisp."

 

Nagisa: "STOP!"

 

Nagisa has come to the rescue. She is much more of a professional at this kind of thing than Kan'u and Sakuno.

 

Nagisa: "Cookies are supposed to be baked on a cookie sheet in the oven."

 

Nagisa: "Place small bits of dough onto the cookie sheet."

 

Nagisa: "Make sure there is space between the cookies to give them room to expand."

 

Nagisa: "A fork can be used to make the classic crisscross pattern seen on peanut butter cookies."

 

Nagisa: "To make Peanut Butter Cookie Blossoms, make balls of dough and roll them in sugar. We will need unwrapped Hershey's Kisses immediately after they are done baking. I will bake the crisscross cookies first. Sakuno and Kan'u, would you two like to unwrap the Kisses for me?"

 

Sakuno: "OK."

 

Kan'u: "Sure. It will speed up the whole process."

 

After Nagisa has returned with the baked crisscross cookies, she finds that Sakuno and Kan'u have unwrapped plenty of Kisses.

 

Nagisa: "You two have very different unwrapping techniques."

 

Sakuno: "Kan'u's are a mess."

 

Kan'u: "They taste the same."

 

Sakuno: "Use mine!"

 

Nagisa: "I will use both of your Kisses."

 

Kan'u: "You sure you don't want me to unwrap more?"

 

Nagisa: "Right after the cookies come out of the oven, add a Hershey kiss to each one and remove them from the cookie sheet."

 

Sakuno: "I have my plate ready."

 

Nagisa: "Here is a cookie for each of you. Thank you for helping."

 

Now that all the cookies have been safely baked, everyone is happy.

 

Wait, here is Godzilla. He wants to be in the photo too.

 

The whole peanut butter cookie team.

 

Saori: "So Iron Chef Kan'u, what did you think of today's battle? What will become of your Iron Chef career?"

 

Kan'u: "I don't know. Challenger Chef Godzilla is very talented. I think I will have to pass the torch onto him."

 

Sakuno: "I would say it is safer that way, but Godzilla is a pyromaniac too."

 

Saori: "There you have it! This Saori reporting live from Kitchen Stadium."

OH NO YOU DID NOT!!!

 

This is far and away the best story I have read yet! I was laughing so hard at times, it was too funny! Where do I start?

 

Kanu in her bathrobe is EXCELLENT. She is so lovely, I would seriously kill someone for her.

 

Kanu's whole attitude of "whatever" is so great. Her Kiss wrappers were hilarious. "Eh, they taste the same." LOL

 

You won't believe this but I happen to own that SAME EXACT Godzilla toy! Does he make his trademark roaring sounds when you push a button on his chest/stomach? If so, it's the same one I have! That's so cool! I've been a Godzilla fan since childhood.... it's great to see him back in action. His flaming of the cookies was great. The effects you added were perfect.... especially the smoldering remnants in the pan.

 

And so many cool kitchen tools! I'd love to have some of those! The meat cleaver was an great additon.

 

It's also hilarious when Sakuno tries to tell Kanu she isn't doing her cooking properly. Kanu is like, meh, it will be fine. And then Nagisa shows up to properly train them on cookie cooking. Sooo funny!

 

It's also great that Kanu is just sitting back half the time enjoying her parfait. I do so love me some Kanu and yours is by far the coolest one I have seen.

 

 

Wow Mitsuki, you outdid yourself on this photoshoot. Your girls are so expressive and the way you set up the story is just fantastic. Thank you for keeping the bar set high on photostories... how will I ever hope to compete with such awesomeness??

How did *I* start it? All I did was mention that I thought the Pumpkin Spiced cookies looked like Peanut Butter cookies. And that I liked P-nut Butter cookies. A lot. It's not MY fault Kanu and the others decided to hook themselves up with some yummy treats! Besides, if they hadn't done this, we wouldn't have seen Gojira-kun in all his glory or seen Kanu in a bathrobe. THAT alone was worth the price of admission!

Not that I actually said to mix them all up... but I must say it was a capitol idea! Great execution also helped the mixture immensely. I mean, how can you go wrong with ingredients like that??

 

I'm glad you took the idea and ran with it Mitsuki. I do so love seeing your photo posts and your girls in action!
