[NSFW] How to assemble a dollfie dream's body - tutorial

Recommended Posts

blackmercury

Earlier this year, I put together all the DD III pieces and now I can show you how I put the body together.

You'll need all these eight parts (#1 and #8 for your choice)

if you cann't buy a DDIII-FO-01 / Feet you can use a DDS Parts DDS-FO-01 Feet.

DDS Option Parts DDS-BF-01 Upper Torso Internal Frame is the same for all DDIII/DDdyIII/DDS dolls

step#1 - Attaching the shins to the thighs

it's hard to do (( you can to heat the knee side of the thigh with a hair dryer to make the vinyl more pliable. Then push the armature from the top of the hip down to get it through the hole at the knee. Also the knees pieces are labelled L & R )

in the end, you should have something like this )

step#2 - connecting feets

it's very easy. you need to simply insert them

step#3 - connecting the legs to the hip socket

I heated the vinyl at the top of the leg with a hair dryer to make it easier

in the end, you should have something like this

step#4 - attaching the torso frame

Slide the internal torso frame onto the peg with the neck joint bent towards the back

step#5 - attaching the bust )

it's easy. Slide down the bust onto the internal torso frame. be carefull with neck joint

step#6 - attaching arms

The arms aren't labelled L & R but it's easy to figure out which is which by bending the elbows. The elbows only bend in one direction – forward like a real arm – so you can orient the arms that way. Push them straight into the shoulder holes.

Excellent!

Wish I had this when assembling my DDS, what a pain that was!

Any chance you can add a note about which way hands attach? I get them upside down half the time so it may be helpful to others too ^_^;

I'm sorry, I did not understand a bit what you mean.

I just remembered that in the book that was included with Natsuki 2nd was the process of how to disassemble the doll. these official photos can be used for assembly)

Thank you! This helped a lot when I assembled my girl's body yesterday! She's still headless, unfortunately…

Specializing in the art of being different, which is a polite way of saying "weird."

I do think I'm too young for this hobby…

DDII come pre-assembled, so someone would have to take them apart in the first place to need to put them back together. I know Mitsuki has some pictures of their internal frame in a sticky at the top of this forum, so you should be able to get a general idea from that!

So internal bust frames don't come with individual bust sizes? That's so useful to know, thank you! ^3^
