Figma

It sounds like there are quite a few Figma fans here! Figmas are such cool little figures! I've been collecting them since the line premiered with Yuki Nagato (I kick myself for missing Haruhi Brave version...) and seemed to have amassed quite a few now...

My figma collection started off with Miku and Aegis and it ballooned from there.. I'll have to take some photos!

 

I am jealous of your Saber Extra. I have all the FSN figma with the exception of Saber Lily and Saber Extra.

 

Figma are great in general - they're nicely made and small so you can display a bunch of them in a small amount of space.

 

They were my starting point before I took the leap into Nendoroids (I started those with a Miku as well!) and on to scaled figures (Alter's Saber Lily was my first scaled figure)

Oh yes, I love Figmas! I was collecting them before I started with DD's and now it seems that DD's have taken over so my Figma collection has remained stagnant for a while now.

This was way back last year right after I adopted Manami. I haven't added a single Figma since then. Sad I know but I could use that money towards clothing and goodies for my girls!

 

When I was in Japan last September, I was able to pick these things up:

 

 

They are really cool in person and I think that Haruhi agrees about them being awesome.....

For me, Figma was the realization of a dream... Many of my favorite characters, in scale (mostly), fully pose-able! I have quite a few fixed pose figures too, but Figma really grabbed me!

Baldylox, you have a nice little Figma collection! But were is Ryomou? I think we can all understand choosing DDs over Figma though! I haven't bought any of the Ex-Ride series, although my Haruhi likes to cruise on this:

Ha ha! Haruhi and Mikuru swiped the HALO quad! Too funny.

 

At the time the pic was taken, my Ryomou Figma was living over with the rest of my Ryomou figures and statues:

I have only 3 of them: Drossel (my first one, the beautiful princess of my heart <3), Aegis and Saber in casual clothes. I have preordered Append Miku and I'm thinking to get Aegis Heavy Armor Ver., KOS-MOS and Metis too**

I don't like them a lot because them are little and quite expensive and i like Nendoroids more ><

 

I would love to see a figma of Shiki Ryougi, Ignis and Motoko Kusanagi!!!

You have to watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It's so a must. It's seriously one of the best anime series I've ever seen.

 

Right now I have... 7 figma on order - 8 once GSC puts up their international ordering site for the Heavy Equipment Aegis. I counted the White Rock Shooter figma since I preordered the game. I had a feeling you had Saber Lily since you have Saber Extra - I wonder if Volks will make a DD of Saber Extra???

 

I highly recommend the ex:Ride line of stuff. I have their gold motorcycle and two of those little fold away bikes like Billy has (green and orange) I want to get one of those mini bikes!

Here's my one and only Figma at the moment, instructing me in D&D play... she's totally won me over though, there WILL be more XD

I have a bunch, including all the Fate ones except Saber Extra. They're cool little figures. I've got Michael Jackson (lol) and Danny Choo's Mirai coming later this month.

I collected figma too before I found out about Dollfie dreams. I have about ten now and my favorites are Yuki Nagato and Kagami Hatsune Miku version. I have he the female and male archetypes too. I used them as models for drawing, but not anymore. I accidentally broke the shoulder joint of archetype male ^^;

I actually got into figmas bout the same time i did with DD! I only got 2 figmas now but i love em to death.

My first was Dead Master, she being the first figma i fell in love with, then i recently got her human counterpart Yomi. i'll try to get some pics of em later.

My figure collecting only started when i got my 1st figma, which was Fate Testarossa. I got quite a few figma's but stopped after getting Ayanami Rei, which is still in her box. Now my funds goes towards my DD Girls.

I collected figmas before I turned to DDs. I like that they are poseable, but I didn't like the fact that long hair or dresses destroy that poseability almost completely I did buy the archetypes and they are very nice drawing models (especially compared to those wooden dolls). But I rarely use them now. I broke shoulder joint from the male version and I don't know how to fix it.

I started collecting Figmas right as they started being released. Prior to my desk move, I had a nice little cabinet that I put my figures in: http://tinyurl.com/42tuqdf I also have to put a disclaimer that this photo was taken last year, so my collection has grown since then ^^;

 

Since the move, I've had to put most of the figures in a box and off to the side. I do have the K-on girls set up currently though and Lum's flying close by. I also have a bunch at home waiting to be displayed plus Madoka's and Lynette Bishop are on their way.

Those are great, JoltFiend!! I love the tiger car too... I wondered what those looked like in comparison to figma!

 

I recently just got into them, and have 4 of them now... and want more... but I agree with Maarit, long hair or bleepbersome outfits can ruin their posing, so I only try to buy ones that look like they will pose well. XD

I have about 5 Figmas. If I let myself go I would have 20......must restrain myself orz
