KYF Posted March 28, 2013 Are Dolls popular as in general? My family thought i was a bit strange to have a doll as a guy. I do see quiet a lot of players in hong kong though. How about in other places? Where do you come from and is this hobby popular where you are? As I am new to this world, are there any advices and suggestions to the hobby? Thanks for reading
XOHimitsuOX Posted March 28, 2013 Welcome I assume you got Saber Extra, maybe you should reinforce the joints if you haven't done so Like the ones from Cool Cats http://us.sk-coolcat.com/front/bin/ptlist.phtml?Category=382741
KYF Posted March 28, 2013 Do you think I can reinforce them maybe 6-12 months time, I hope I'm not stressing her out too extensively at the moment, she stands next to my bed all day, actually want to sit her down a little
XOHimitsuOX Posted March 28, 2013 From my experience i got Yukino 2nd ver (older DDIII frame) didn't pose her much. After a few months i found cracks in the hip, luckily i got a replacement parts for the hips. Then i didn't touch her much. A few more months later i found the the shoulder parts had cracked. Could have been a change of temperature in the room. Which i then made shoulder custom parts to fix her. Then i got Saber and decided not to through that hassle and got me some reinforcements from Cool Cats. I dunno how well of an improvement the new DDIII frame is, but i didn't want to find out the hard way. You could be luckly and have no problems what-so-ever, or unlucky like me. archangeli Posted April 1, 2013 Oh that's so sad, why do they crack? It was a design flaw in one of the pieces Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
Silverwing Posted April 2, 2013 Hi! I also have Saber extra! I was hesitant to buy her at first (after hearing the horror stories about the DDIII body) Until I purchased some reinforcment from coolcat. I would certainly reccomend them, They work great and give a bit of peace at night.
