Misheru Posted April 6, 2013 For the first time in a long time I can say I am safe. Alice holds no interest for me at all and I don't see Mio in her, but that is just me. Asuna is cute, but I really hated her guild uniform in the anime (hated her guild, too), so I am not interested in her either. I have a custom Asuna already in the casual fashion. I had hoped for Asuna's extra outfits but I see that was a no go. The doll alone doesn't look so much like Asuna to me and isn't that unique. She is cute though, just not different enough to make me jump. Plus my dolly wallet is breathing a sigh of relief. Even being in Japan is zero guarantee of getting anything when it comes to dolls, so one needn't have geographic jealousy here ^_^;. For instance, with Aoko/Melty from last time, I struck out with the three avenues open to Japanese residents. I've noticed that these forums tend to be a pretty good predictor of how hard it's going to be to get dolls from an event. There was an explosion of interest over Aoko/Melty, only a little interest over Lucy/Nanami, and now the Asuna/Alice pair looks to be another very stiff competition. This isn't to say you cannot get your goal doll. But it IS to say you'll have to be lucky or try really hard to get your doll, so you should set your expectations appropriately! So very true. All the lotteries are no guarantee. >< I've been to 5 Dollpa and never won a single thing and only one AE did I win. Three US and International lotteries and only won once. Although I do have a wife that did get pissed at Dollpa 28 so she just went to YJA and bought me Melty anyway ^o^v Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SD16G Ryo Narasaki could also be on the horizon, but the lotteries for Alice will certainly be attempted. The other outfits I don't yet have an urge for. Many are cute and all, but I'm still waiting for someone in Volks to decide to produce jeans or pants fitted for DD & DDdy as a standard regularly stocked item. Another dollfie dream... It is the Dolls Party. However, I skipped over that since my request service is closed as of today, so the next chance you will have to get those outfits is mid-May (after-event).
