Dollheart Clothing Sizes?

I've been wondering about this myself. I understand it's hit or miss, but do the SD 10/13 sizes work on a DD, Medium bust? I know there is a special section for the DDM, but of course, the outfit I like in in the regular section.

All my SD10/SD13 Dollheart stuff fits DD-M. Sometimes I have to pin it a bit in the back because it's a little loose, especially around the waist, but if you're OK with a safety pin or two at the back, then pretty much all the outfits should be OK.

And sometimes it fits DDY too. For example, the Jazmyne Steampunk set seems to fit my DDY girl. However, the bodice is VERY loose at her waist and the skirt is pretty tight around the hips.

 

Also, fair warning about the DDM and DDY specific clothing. The two nurse sets I got are SUPER tight to my dolls. For example, I'd doubt you'd get a L bust into the DDM nurse set and I can't seem to latch one latch on the back of the red and white corset on my DDY girl even though it's made for her. I tried the black skirt from the DDY set on my DDM and it fit, but just didn't look as nice without the perfectly sculpted hips. These sets are for sure custom fit for the body. I bet a DDS might fit into the DDM set, but I'd be careful about what I chose to order knowing what I do now.

 

The plus? These sets look like the doll was poured into them. They are a perfect fit. (Though that black skirt goes right up my DDY's backside when she sits. Wow.... miniskirt indeed!)

But hey guys! Mint on Card announced Dollheart has their usual lucky bags up for pre-order, but this year they have separate bags for DDM and DDDy sizes! I went and put one of their DDM sizes, and 2 SD girl bags for my Rika on layaway. Crossing my fingers I get something cute for her this year! I still have things I couldn't trade before from my previous bags lying around.

I saw them while looking through the DH site yesterday. I'm excited! ^^ Now to decide if I want two DDM or one DDM and one SD set.

Oh man, DD and DDDy are included in Fukubukuro now!? So dangerously tempting. I suppose if I get one it'll be either DDM in hopes that some of the stuff Nanoha and Miku can share, or MSD in hopes of getting some good stuff for Homura.

 

I do wonder if they've dropped the Steampunk line, as they haven't done one so far this year. I really hope they haven't.

Haha, I like how the forum bleeps out the bag name. XD I am super tempted to add a DDDy bag to my order, despite my not having a girl that size. I figure I will eventually have one though, so maybe I should stockpile her clothes now like I did for Rika? I am on the fence.

Ah, I hope the bags are good this year! Last year, I heard a bunch of comments on how they were disappointing. Some bags even were either under or over the values they should have been. I am hoping I don't get another bag of petticoats, ugly shoes, and minor accessories. D:

I've tried them on Rinrin (vmf50 Nao) and it's much like other SD13 clothes where they're slightly big and some pieces work, others don't depends on the piece. She's currently wearing one of their SD13 tops:

Oh gosh, I just got Rika the Red Riding Hood and Midnight Plum Fer, and she's way too adorable in them! I was thinking of selling one to a friend, but now that is out the window. I am tempting the staining fiends though by letting her wear them. I am so happy the DDS body fits SD clothes so well!

 

Ah, I'll need to find a place to take pictures of her at some point. It's been rainy out lately, so everything outside is too moist. D:

It's SD16 which will fit, but may be a bit loose. SD16 is a bit wider in the hips and chest than SD13 and taller. They'll fit DDy L bust quite well with the exception of maybe being a bit tall.

 

SD13 will generally fit DDs of all types with varying degrees of tightness/looseness.
