Now that Neris has arrived, I've been working on scaling up my blouse pattern. So far so good, I just got distracted with a new head though ^_^;

Wow! Erio would be an adorable DD! That is a wonderful idea.

So I have actually made a bit more progress on Mirielle - found a wig, and decided on her head mold. She'll be a slightly modded HDD-02. I carved out the mouth a bit for teeth, just have to wait for another sunny weekend to paint

For concepting, I take a photo of the blank head and do draw-overs in photoshop until I get a design that I like. After doing a couple Volks look-alike heads I feel that I've gotten comfortable with the process and can do my own designs now.

 

I'm thinking of taking her in a more fantasy-ish direction, because she's somehow become a student of alchemy. These things happen, you know. Her school is a magic academy in the alternate-universe equivalent of Switzerland. I might revisit the uniform design since I can go a bit more crazy with it

Great work on the face up painting, but boy does she look painfully shy. I'm not sure I could have a girl like that around knowing I could never get her to look happy. But that's just me I suppose.

I'm trying not to change too many costume details, but she's getting a cape and boots treatment for sure

Mwahahah! I'm super stoked because I found DD-scale flasks and bottles! And I thought that would really be the hard part.

 

More work on Mirielle's dress, the new fantasy version has a bustier top. Yoko is modelling this time

 

I started working on a dress shirt but failed miserably... this one (in the photo) is from Alice's Collections. The bolero cardigan is coming along well, should have progress to show there soon.

She is so beautiful! I love that pose. Her hair and eyes are gorgeous!

Yoko looks too sweet! Lovely pose! What's funny is, I also have that same shirt from Alices Collections and the first girl I let wear it was Miyuki. So both of us seem to like that shirt on our 04 girl!

The AC set is cute, right? Seems to fit best on L bust, it's a little loose without the skirt over top.
