plush toys

hi everyone, while still bidding on my first dollfie dream *hoping i can win her*, im looking around to buy cloth and stuff. just wondering where can i find those cute plush toys for dollfie dream? i google it but cant seems to find any.

Mostly you just keep an eye out. Beany Babies are a good size usually for one, and there are some small MLP plushes (bout 4.5 inches tall from hooves to top of ears I think) from Funrise that work decently as well. Check things like keychains, greeting card sections/shops, and souvenir places. You may be able to find some in toy stores/toy sections too. Online, I'd probably Google with fairly generic terms--"mini plush (whatever)", for instance. Basically, most of the plush toys you see DDs with aren't meant as BJD props, but if the scale is right they work well anyway.

 

I recommend keeping an extra DD hand in your wallet or purse, once you have a couple pairs around. This will give you a quick frame of reference to check the scale of potential props when you run into them--and you will find them in weird places sometimes.

My favorite plushes I've found while on trips, a lot of tourist shops will have small plush animals for some reason, even if they're totally unrelated to the place you're visiting.

Beany Babies end up looking like the kind of plush that's meant for hugging and snuggling. Especially the older, simpler ones.

 

Cauldroness, the Only Hearts are adorable! You got any pictures of how they look with a DD?

So slightly smaller than that rabbit.

There are also Teenie Beanies back in the old days that were released by McDonalds that were smaller versions of Beanie Babies. Else some small sized plushies can also work (see my avatar ).

I can't remember if my Mitsuki's bunny is Only Hearts or not but it's similarly sized. Mitsuki is an MDD though.

I ordered the dumplings they are so cute! and inexpensive!

I bought several of the 3 inch sized plush animals from this site. They are perfect size for a DD. Haven't tried the 5 inch ones but they would probably work as well.
