waha Posted April 13, 2013 Generally stuff made for M will fit S... but it might be a tiny bit baggy around the bust I guess? The S bust is pretty... sad really. But as a good friend once said: "when in doubt, just stuff tissue paper in there"

gaiaswill Posted April 13, 2013 If the clothes are made for "M/L", IMO it would be too loose. If the clothes are made for just "M", it should be only slightly loose and IMO acceptable.

You can say it's marketing since less of the market are interested in S busts. Most image characters come in M or L bust nowadays. Therefore, it's more profitable for them to make S/M clothing instead of just S clothing.

Nekopon Posted April 13, 2013 There are a lot of good S/M clothing, in my opinion. Here are a few to start you off with: Saturday Aquarium Set (Gray) http://www.volksusa.com/ofkor20121203.html Stylish Tartan Set http://www.volksusa.com/ofkor20120104.html Sugar Milk Cookie http://www.volksusa.com/ofkor20120502.html Little Lost Lamb Set http://www.volksusa.com/ofkor20120602.html Punkish Tartan Set http://www.volksusa.com/oflpb20120309.html Cherished Rose Dress http://www.volksusa.com/ofkor20111201.html There are also a lot of clothes that are S/M/L that will look nice on S bust. Lyakim Posted April 13, 2013 @Nekopon, haha, i think you provided a nice selection of clothes except... none of them are in stock... which doesn't actually solve chinti's original problem because... he/she probably can't easily get any of them? thus his/her complaint? i think that in the end, it really depends on the outfit itself. some outfits are more tolerant than others. I mean, some outfits fit all sizes, so it's definitely possible. is there any particular outfit you are looking at? or a particular style? have you considered changing to a M bust instead? i find that M is still fine if you prefer the smaller chest sizes (like me), and it will fit more outfits... Nekopon Posted April 13, 2013 Hmm, how do I explain this...? Volks clothes are often not in stock. They are rarely re-released and/or restocked, except for a few selection. We all have to hunt down and look for the right chance to get the clothes we want. We look at YJA, ebay, Figure.gm, Mandarake. It will not fall on your lap, unfortunately. Out of the ones I've linked, the Sugar Milk Cookie will be released soon in Pink if that is something you're interested in. Saturday Aquarium Set (Gray) was recently spotted on DoA and FFM. Lastly, the Little Lost Lamb Set and Cherished Rose Dress was on these forums not too long ago for sale. (They are gone now.) Alternative solution is to find other brands of clothing to buy like Alice's Collection, Crobi, anything on Taobao, etc etc but unless they give you specific measurements, it will be a gamble. archangeli Posted April 13, 2013 This outfit is marked as M/L bust - http://www.volksusa.com/ofkor20111101.html but for the longest time I had my DDS with an S bust wearing it (without any tissue padding ) She doesn't fill it out, but it doesn't look bad - Moe in the middle there is an S-bust too. --- You can try Tree Design too. A lot of their tops would work on the S bust - http://i-treedesign.kr/product/princess/SFSELFAA0000150/?main_cate_no=AB000000&display_group=1 (sorry, this one is sold out at the moment but they do restock it. This top has proved to look great on S, M, L and Dddy busts!!) Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli

aquilla429 Posted April 13, 2013 In my experience as someone who now owns all dd bust types now I can say the following. If the dress is labeled as M it should be fine on s bust too, as long as the bust part of the outfit is not specifically shaped and closely fitted for the bust shape and size. Stretchy outfits, blouses, t shirts, hoodies, cardigans, most dresses, jumpers and tank tops to name a few things should look fine on an s bust, the only difference you may see is obviously the smaller bust won't fill it out as much, or be as shapely and obvious. For things like corsets, bras, bikinis, sexy dresses with low neckline and a highly fitted bust and similar type items which are fitted to the exact shape and size of the bust, they will most likely not fit on s bust unless specifically stated. Nekopon Posted April 13, 2013 Moe is S bust, her clothes is also S bust. That is her default outfit, I believe. For tight fitting clothing, a.k.a. Body stocking, should fit fine on S bust regardless that it fits on M and L since it is a stretchy material. Just don't get ones for Dy. Lastly, if you get a kimono that is adjusted through the sash, I think you can get one that is also suitable for M bust and just tuck in the fabric tighter. For maid outfit, Volks have some in stock for S/M/L but from my understanding...you only want things for just S bust?

Lyakim Posted April 14, 2013 i have a 【DDPS-50】 from CoolCat, it's a swimsuit type with round collar, and i personally find that it does look a bit loose on the S bust. i also have a 【DDPN-13】 full body type with high collar, and it looks just fine on S bust. so i would recommend you avoid the round collar types and go for the high collar ones if you can. for cheongsam... i don't have any but i would think it is one of those very unforgiving clothes because it's not stretch and very tight fitting. So i would look for one that is specifically designed for DD S bust.

Lyakim Posted April 14, 2013 i don't have those particular models, but i would say they should probably be fine. i note that you link the swimsuit type, is there a particular reason for that? (ie. why not go for a full body type?)

(ie. why not go for a full body type?) im thinking that cause most of the cloth i wan expose the leg so if i go for full body, it will expose unless i get a stocking for it

aquilla429 Posted April 15, 2013 I don't mean to be rude, so I apologise if I come off that way but I honestly think you should either just buy an m bust part or accept the fact that clothes may look loose on an S bust. Heck even in real life, if you have a small chest, you aren't going to fill out a top the same as a larger chest will, end of story. I work with a woman who wears a size 10 because of the shape and size of her body, but she is only a b cup, so she never fills out the chest of any clothes at all. S bust dolls are just like that, they can wear the same things, but they will never fill it out. Than what I would suggest is get the clothes you normally get for your M bust, no use getting clothes for S bust if you are planning to change it anyways. I am sure the M bust clothes will be very cute on your S bust girl for the time being anyways ^__^. You have to be the one to experiment with sizes, because you are the one that knows what you are looking for. Also you can get a little bra for her so she can fill out clothes a little more if that's what you want, and it will still fit M bust when you get it. Volks right now has some outfits that will fit S/M bust: https://www.volks.co.jp/page_ex.jsp?CONTROLID=SC0030&BUSINESSID=InitDisp&category=02&l=03&m=01&s=004 Volks lists the sizes if you wanna be technical.
