DDS / MDD Actual Height

Hello every1,

 

I have two questions:

 

1. (Volks site mentions that DDS height is 50cm / MDD height 43cm) Are these measurements including the head or without? If it is without, can some please state the actual height including the head on both models?

 

2. Can I attach DD hands on MDD arms or it will be loose?

The heads are different sizes, so a DD Sister's height is going to depend on what head she has on. But it will usually be about 54cm or 55cm with a head attached.

 

MDD is around 40cm I think, although I don't currently own any so I can't just measure one.

MDD is 43.5cm according to Volks' own measurements.

 

DD hands won't fit MDD arms, and even if they did it would... look quite awkward due to their size.

I thought Puppy52's Taiga used regular DD hands? I could be wrong but I thought I read that at one point.

Say WUT? Nah, Taiga's got regular MDD hands.

Hmmm well looking back Taiga does usually have regular MDD hands, but I found the post where I got that thought from.

So they do fit and look ok, but only if you want the hands to be less childlike.

Naiomi is a DDS with a 01 head and is 55cm tall.

Tamayuki is an MDD with a 03 head and is 44cm tall.
