I have a few Barbie dolls.... Still from when I was a kid xD They're probably in the attic, dusty all by now.

And I collect Monster high dolls! Well I used to collect them, now I'm selling them to get the money for my DD xD I used to have quite a collection... Now I have like 7 left.

Oooh, who are the keepers? I have the Gargoyle and the Skeleton girl and I don't see myself getting rid of them, they're just too cool! XD

Just some poeople on the internet that i sold them to xD I made sure my sold MH dolls are in good hands I don't have any of the newer ones, because I stopped collecting them. I just sold 2 more, too getting them ready to be shipped out.

hehe, I meant which Monster High dolls did you keep!

Sorry for the confusion!

I have a huge collection of Monster High dolls (as you can probably tell from my profile pic LOL). I love these little dolls, and it's nice to have a doll that doesn't put me in financial traction every time I want one! Even my OOAKs are way less than my BJDs and DDs.

Ya I agree lol, the problem is I still son't have money for both lol!

LOL, me neither. Every year I make a resolution to limit myself in some way, but it usually doesn't work out. Now I have the new affliction, the DDs. Oh, well, who needs money anyway

What is the money for? To buy dolls of course lol Now I have the ever after highs on the list -_- the problem is that these dolls are easily accessible.

I have to agree with Amara77! I can't wait to see your new Amelie too, I've wanted an Amelie for so long!

Amelie is gorgeous, my girl is getting a reroot now but she should be done in a few weeks! I want her to look like a very rare Amelie that I sadly lost on Ebay.

Blinky's Doll Boutique does have some very nice items, just perfect for dollhouses and dioramas. I need to get some of those cute little pillows myself.

I received a newsletter from Sekiguchi this morning about these new Momoko dolls.

Sekiguchi is releasing both Yoko and Nia. They are so adorable and I hope they'll make more anime based dolls.

I've been gleaning info from the Web lately, and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here.

Does anybody have a method of giving a fashion doll a stiff sculpted hairstyle. The doll I'm working with is Disney 's classic Elsa, so you have an idea of how I want the hair to look.

When she came in the box, her hair was already hard, but I didn't like the way it was shaped, so I washed the hard stuff out. Now I'm wondering what I can use to reshape it in a more movie accurate way. Azone wax just doesn't do the trick

You can try human hair gel. Just a small amount and see how that works.

I used it a few times in the past on my Momoko dolls. Just wash the hair when you want it removed.

Edit: I remember this one doll collector using a specific Bed Head product but I don't remember the exact name. Maybe I can get in touch with her.

Thanks!

Is there any type of human hair product I should avoid to prevent damage to the doll, or are all ok?

I also heard that glue can be used for a permanent style, but can't find anything online about it :/

I'd avoid human products that say super or anything like that and hairspray. I also got in touch with the person I mentioned, the product is called Bed Head Manipulator. She uses it on pigtails for dolls.

I haven't heard of using glue but hopefully you can find more info about it. Good luck!
