Help for a newbie?

I am quite new to the Dollfie Dream hobby, and I am really interested in getting one, however, I don't think I've ever had a doll quite so expensive. DDs are my favorite of all ball jointed dolls, but I know they do need some special care, such as a body sock and a wig cap to prevent staining. So, I have been wondering, how much can a Dollfie Dream take? I don't plan on abusing her, but can she survive a drop from my arms without cracking?

I have also been fearing that I may get her, and be uninterested in her after a while. If this does happen, are there any ways that you recommend to grow attached to her again?

A last question, if I was to take her outside, and she got mud on the inside, what would you recommend to fix this?

Thank you in advance

So, I have been wondering, how much can a Dollfie Dream take? I don't plan on abusing her, but can she survive a drop from my arms without cracking? Dollfie Dreams are not delicate at all. There is some chance of internal parts breaking, but that doesn't happen because of a drop to the floor. It's usually either friction over time in the joints (which can be prevented by Coolcats parts) or too much stress when trying to say, bend the back. I leave my girls sitting in my living room on a cabinet and I occasionally come home to find that one has fallen down. She's never hurt though. That's what I love about vinyl- a short drop onto carpet will not break fingers off or anything, unlike resin.

I have also been fearing that I may get her, and be uninterested in her after a while. If this does happen, are there any ways that you recommend to grow attached to her again? Sometimes all it takes to re-bond with a girl is to change her look. Try a new wig, new eyes, new clothes, and see if she develops a different personality that you find more attractive.

A last question, if I was to take her outside, and she got mud on the inside, what would you recommend to fix this? I don't know how she would get mud inside her unless she was submerged in a liquid mud puddle, in which case I think her clothes and such would be ruined first. But even if something tragic like that happened, she could likely be saved if she's taken apart and given a bath. I personally saw a DD at a doll meet fall over face first into a cup of sour cream. She cleaned up ok. Volks seals their faceups quite well, so you can carefully clean them and they won't come off as long as you don't use strong chemicals or abrasives.
