Retrofitting Yoko (breasts shown)

Recommended Posts

So, my Yoko, she came to me last year and I found out pretty early that she had something wrong with her knee. It was super loose, so I tried taking the leg apart to put in a kip and found out the ring on the leg below the joint was super glued on.

This left me feeling rather sad.

I then saw the DDdyIII body and thought it has a lot of similar proportions and possibly I could just put Yoko's bust on it. I used DDS arms partially because of cost and partially because I thought the gentle shoulders would look better.

This was the result.

I didn't like the gap that was there.

So I got the idea to rip out the bits from the torsos and swap them. Luckily Yoko's thighs are the same size as the DDdyIIIs so I didn't have to rip out any vinyl.

The result after changing the spine:

I then decided that I wanted to try new eyes since I never really felt the yellow eyes were accurate, so I got the new eyes from Volks to try:

The following pictures show the results of this retrofitting.

You can see in this photo though, the only gapping I've found is if I arch her all the way back. Otherwise it's pretty solid as an adjustment.

I agree those eyes are awesome! I'm not brave enough to play Dr. DDFrankenstein lol.

I would say your experiment however was a great success

I have to agree as well, the new eyes look awesome. I have a Yoko too, but I've never even noticed that her eyes weren't a perfect match. BTW I have never heard of the term "retrofitting" either. I wanted to Google it for fun!

I noticed on my DDdyIII that there's a gap between torso and bust as well, and I was wondering if all Dy3 bodies have this?

What torso skeletal system did you switch it with to get rid of the gap?

I was never a fan of Yoko's default eyes, but I really love the ones that you chose instead. They look really great on her!
