Nothing wrong with that, still nice for people to see her updated face and how she looks in casual clothing.

This will be the first time I try to order from an after event. Do the clothing go really fast? I just want to know if I need to be on the page of the outfit I want as soon as it goes live. or do I have an hour or so cushion?

It is usually best to add the clothes to your cart as soon as possible. If an outfit is not so popular you can get an hour or more cushion, but you may not wish to count on that if it's something you are fond of.

As the After Event draws closer I find myself wondering if it would be prudent, or even if it were against forum etiquette, to make a list of those who, after entering and winning multiple times for the same item, are willing to share? Is this a horrible thing for me to think about? Asuna seems to be a hot ticket item and I'd hate to lose her in my lottery entry and never have another chance besides the after-market.

Eep! If it goes that fast I'll just make her a similar style dress when she gets home. I'm not sure if I'll be able to check on it fast enough to try and buy it.

So, today's blog post tells us the AE situation for Asuna. It's a little weird.

 

At the Akihabara store, there will be some small quantity physically present, and when those run out Volks will be taking orders, up to the normal amount that store would have gotten regularly. Those will be delivered early June.

 

At every other store, there will be some small quantity of Asuna present, and when that's gone it's gone. No orders.

 

Online it is possible to enter the lottery as normal.

 

This speaks to the Asuna backlog still not being completely finished, and this is how Volks is handling the shortage for the in-person AE in Japan.

Alice's release will be normal. Whatever the predetermined amount is will be shipped to each store for distribution and then there's the online lottery too. There wasn't a production delay with her so everything is as usual.

Yep, this was specifically discussing the state of Asuna dolls being physically present at the AE in stores. There has always been a question about that status, once it was revealed she would not be present to take home from Dolpa. So, yes, the announcement is for people going to the stores. I figured others might be curious what ended up happening with that.

 

Yes, I will be going to the event. I don't think this will cause problems necessarily; it'll just make it harder to get Asuna at the store since there will be fewer copies than usual present.

This is probably a stupid question, but the 10:00 and 12:00 for the times, are those AM or PM? ^^;

Times in Japan are frequently quoted on a 24-hour clock, so that's 10am and 12pm noon JST.

Is this event tonight (in about 16 hours) or tomorrow night? (In one day 16 hours)

It is the former. I leave for the store in about 12 hours from now, for example.
