Yume's serious talk

Yume loves to go outside and sit, so we went out and sat on the steps again today and had a chat.

Yume: I don't want to be "the doll with the big boobs" anymore. I want to be Yume. I want people to see me for me, not my bust size. Does that make sense...? *sigh*

Even tho a lot of my girls have large busts or DDdy ones, a good amount have the M-bust and are quite happy that way. My Sango also requested that her L-bust be downsized to the M-bust and she's so much happier now. So I know how you must feel having Yume asking for a downsize.

 

What size will she go to? She looks like a DDdy girl so will you do a modded L-bust or maybe even a modded M-bust on her? I've seen them done before and it works out very well. Whatever she chooses to go with, I'm sure she'll be very happy and still just as cute.

Well, originally I was thinking of getting the M-bust, but Yume has been begging me to get the S-bust, so I'm kind of stuck between the two. I told her that with the S-bust her hips would seem much bigger, but she didn't want to hear it. (= . =") So, do you think that bust will end up working out ok, or should I stick with the M-bust?

Personally I think the S-bust is way too small for the larger hips, thighs and butt of the DDdy body. I think the M-bust would make a much better fit for her since she's a DDdy girl. Going to the M-bust from the DDdy bust will be a HUGE difference tho, probably more than Yume thinks it will be.

 

It's up to you and her of course but given the proportions of her body, I think the M-bust is the best way to make her smaller without making her look out of scale or oddly shaped.

Very cute! I have to agree that the small bust would probably look disproportionate with the dy lower body. Medium would be a better fit!

Yeah, I really do think that the M-bust will be small enuff to make her happy and still fit the rest of her body lines without looking odd. And you can never go wrong with more hands! Those are fun to have and make photos even cooler to take since it makes her look more realistic. I know she'll like having those.

 

And don't worry about chatting with me, I talk WAY too much! I'm sure we'll continue chatting all over the boards since I don't know how to shut up.

And, I agree, Billy always brings the fun with him. If it were up to me, he'd be talking without end about dolls with us everyday. All day. Forever.

She is so adorable! I am compelled to see what S-bust on a DDdy would look like now. haha I feel like I have enormous hips and a tiny bust. Not S but my hips probably make my bust seem smaller. My aunts make fun of me for being so small in the chest but still having our family's trademark baby-factory huge hips.

I continue to not be able to figure out a look for her despite having her for years now. I just keep trying different things. This is how she looks now. She is on a DDII with M-bust in a Steins;Gate Kurisu cosplay.

 

Oh, boobs. If you have them, you don't want them, and if you don't have them, you do want them. I myself have a hated huge chest, and I've always said, if I could bive about half of them away to a friend who wanted a bigger chest I would. Then we'd both be happy.

 

I think a small bust on a DDDy would probably end up looking like a bigger version of Leekeworld Mikhaila's body. So not something everyone will like, but yet a lot of people still love it. There seemed to be a trend for a little while with resin companies making big hipped, small busted girls, so there had to have been a desire for it.

I love Mikhaila's look. haha Based on how much my aunts complain, I am glad to just be smaller. Maybe they make fun of me because they want smaller too.

Too true! And I totally thought about it looking like that leekeworld body with the S-bust, and I actually really love that model. She's on my want list. So maybe I might try out the S-bust after the M-bust, to see if I like it.

I have had this exact thought many times in the last year. Unfortunately I lack the proper finances to make it a sustainable endeavor for him and his girls.

 

I've really wondered about an S bust DDdy for a while now so I'd also love to see any pics that you take. Personally that body type would be really an adorable pear shaped girl.

Ha ha! I'm glad a couple of people don't mind my constant babbling. But trust me, if I had the ability to cruise the forums all day, everyday, I would. I love this place and really enjoy the people here. It's also great to look at others pics and read ideas people have on things.

I may not have been talking much recently but its only because I'm trying to push through a doll related project I started last year that I think has a lot of potential. My brain feels like it's going to pop after working through a batch of 250+ photos (only 90 more to go... urg...) in two and a half days and working them into fifteen pages of text.

 

After that I can get to some of the smaller projects and photo shoots I'm super excited about because I'm tired of keeping my mouth shut. I keep looking at everyone else's photos because its been a long time since I've really had many to show off.

I found it at Atelier Muse (musedoll.com). I'd been looking for white hair forever before that, and then after I found that single wig on Atelier Muse white wigs started popping up everywhere. XD Are you looking for white hair too? Because I saw a bunch on formydoll.com.

Thank you for the info! I'm not currently looking for one but a white wig is definitely something that has crossed my mind. I'll be sure to look at both sites. Eventually I'll have a DDII white skin body to do something with once my husband's Yuriko can get upgraded to a DDIII.
