Poofiemus Posted May 5, 2013 About a month ago, Nanoha, some of my family, and I went to Sedona to celebrate my birthday. For those of you who don't know, Sedona is a town in northern Arizona known for its distinctive red rocks, spectacular buttes, tendency to attract New Agers and overpriced shops, and zoning laws so strict that its McDonalds branch had to trade its golden arches for turquoise. (No shots of the McDonald's this time, so have a nice butte instead.) Anyway, with these stunning landscapes, Nano-Ham--Nanoha, excuse me--wouldn't let me let this chance for nice photos go by. "Well?" "We gonna take some pictures or what?" Yeah, getting some great landscape shots! *Click* "HEY!" "You promised." Why do you always get pushy like this when I take you out? You're not like this at home. "I like having my picture taken?" Alright, I'll take some pictures of you. But I gotta get some pictures of the landscape too. These rock formations are so cool! Sometimes it's hard to believe they're natural. "I know. Like this natural staircase formation." "Or this natural parking lot formation." "And this natural barbed wire formation." "Or this natural drainage pipe formation!" We're so going to tell Agatha that was shed by some giant worm, aren't we? "Don't tempt me." "Jokes aside, the buttes are pretty impressive." "Great weather today, too!" There's something about paths that makes any picture instantly cool. You're in a dead tree. Again. "I like trees?" "See, I'm not even biased. Live tree!" Okaaay. Look ahead! It's Schrodinger's tree--alive and dead at the same time! "Okay, now I have to climb in it. On principle." Present for Billy. =P Ready to go home? "Yeah, I think I am." The network of trails we were on. We barely scratched the surface of them! "Yeah, well, I'm tired anyway." BONUS: Pancake wanted love too. Also, I wheedled a ridiculously photogenic pony into posing for some shots inspired by. . .ZE NATURE. Slide Rock, if you were wondering. I heard you like trees, so I put a tree up in a tree. (Best part? It's an apple tree!) In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.
battrastard Posted May 5, 2013 Awesome scenery, even if the Ham.... er, NanoHA wanted to be very photogenic! *Love that red hair and her outfit, btw!* Awesome to see Pancake out and about, was wondering if he was going to turn a lighter shade of blue, staying indoors! "Madness takes it's toll, Please have exact change!"
