Will the 05 head ever become standard?

The title basically says it all. I really want an 05 head to have it painted as one of my favourite characters. But, I don't want to spend lots of money on a head that will be wiped. So if the head becomes standard, when will it be released?

I will repeat Kumi's answer if you want it put simply to be understood: No one knows. We think "maybe" because they gave it a "basic" number (05) but all we can do is wonder.

I don't think it's 'rude' to call people on the fact that they are not being helpful or welcoming to new members. I didn't question the answer, I question the manner in which it was delivered.

I have an 05 head that I've wiped because I'm turning it into a boy. For many months I tried to figure out when/if the 05 would finally be released as a standard. From everything I can tell from what Volks has said is pretty much a yes, no, at some point maybe, kind of responses. Sometimes it seems that Volk's vagueness is one of their strong points. So if you really love the 05, I'd suggest hunting one down because no one even knows when or if it will join the lineup of standards, maybe not even Volks.

 

As for the people who annoy you, they can easily be added to your 'Foe' list to have their posts ignored. I've had to use it a time or two.

I didn't mean to start a little argument. I knew that volks was releasing the standard parts in semi-white skin soon, so I hoped they would release the new heads too. Seems pretty logical. Although...this is Volks we're on about here, so I really don't know. They seem pretty random lately what with the remake of Lucy.

I think I will hunt one down and wipe it. Since bodies are coming down in price it wont be too out of reach. On the other hand I could get a sirius and have her wiped. It's just a matter of finding the specific one I want.

I may not be entirely correct in this, but I think the newer release 05 might be less expensive than Sirius. They should be easy to tell apart by the faceup. Personally I was very delighted to wipe my 05 once I saw it in person. I'm really not a fan of that faceup. The sculpt on the other hand is really wonderful.

Yes, the blush is very woah in person. The other thing for me was a bit of the color of the lips is a bit of a strange color. But then again it drives me nuts when girls wear lipstick that nearly matches their skin in real life. To each their own.
