Iori Minase....

Hi Everyone, my second post here. Thank you for this community.

 

I'm trying to assemble a custom MDD/DDS Iori Minase from the idolmaster games/anime. I'm hoping for the game/in game video look - and hopefully also want to somehow later get her a vampire costume - but right now I'm trying to figure out which head would work best for her. She has relatively small eyes compared to most DD and SQ lab heads I've seen online. Perhaps it's an optical illusion or maybe I haven't seen enough, hehe. I'd probably go for a frowned/ serious look and will ultimately also need someone to commission a face up from. But of course the head should come first.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations? ^_^ Thank you.

 

(It would be really swell if Volks decided to do a Iori Minase DDS/MDD - she's more of an MDD I thin, but I doubt they will.

Volks might make an Iori. It sounds like the im@s girls are going to be a whole line. They already released Haruka and Miki, and they've already hinted that they're going to do a Chihaya and Yukiho next.

The Idol@School (two versions) and Dressy Alice (one version) outfits from iM@S2 have also been released, in addition to the default outfits that the girls come with. You might do well by collecting those to start with.

 

There's no guarantee of anything with Volks, but my suspicion is that all the iM@S girls will end up being DDS or DD3 so that they can all eventually share the same idol outfits.

WOW!! I bet you could just hear my wallet screaming all the way over in Japan! Even the slightest hint of the possibility of the complete Im@s lineup is enough to make me worry that I'll never have spending money again.

Yes, thanks. I'm aware of these. I even emailed Volks lately wit that suggestion which they said they'd pass on to their development team. I have the pink outfit and Sakura Shinguji is wearing it.

 

In the meantime I grabbed a DD-H07 from Ebay and an MDD body/wigs/eyes from Volks.

I think DD-H07 closely resembles Iori. From the anime and the games, Iori and Yayoi are more MDDs, but I'd be happy if Volks does DDS.

 

Yes I'd buy Iori and Yayoi for sure.

Yes but don't forget their other releases too - Xenosaga characters (I've preordered MOMO) and Asuna from Sword Art Online.

I'm hoping to grab an Alice outfit on the 18th. Otherwise it's Ebay/YJ at inflated prices. U_U

Wow, this is awesome, really love how childish and elegant Iori looks at the same time, Rise can definitely pull it out. Congrats on your lovely lady!!
