Name: Gaara.

Wig: short red wig FOUND

Head: DD-09 Mod By Clockwork angel. DONE

FaceUp: Commissioned DONE.

Body: 65cm OB Male FOUND.

Eyes: Need flatter wide eyes to fit modded head.

Mods: body scars. will do.

 

[update 20/02/16] Gaara has his body!! 65cm Male obitsu had to fix him but hes all together and looking good! Still looking for eyes. they will need to be flat do they hide the gaps in the corner of his eyes. [update end 20/02/16]

[update 9/11/2015] Gaara's head has been sent to Clockwork angel for mod and face-up so in a short time i will have some lovely images for you to see.. [update End [update End 9/11/2015]

[update 19/2/2015] Gaaras head has been updated to a 09 for the look and lip shape but I possably still need to modify the eyes a bit. his body is also going to be updated to a 65cm Obitsu I believe for the masculine look but not overly buff. [update End [update End 19/2/2015]

(attachment below)[update End 10/6/2013] First wip with "eye" so I could work out what shape I would need. I did a few but now I have this and should be good.

Here is a non made up image showing where I will need to work on the eyes shape. I will want some help working out what I will be doing to the lid of the eyes if it is adding some type of clay to it or if I am going to sand the lid down to be flat with the new lid. let me know what you think.

[update 12/9/2013] I want your opinion on head here. Now if I was to get a DDH-05 would it suit Gaara's look? now I think I would need to mod the lips to hardly be there and just refine the eyes ever so lightly but do you think he would look ok? [update End 12/9/2013]

[update 9/4/14] So I have been looking about still and I think the 07 might be good now =/ but still opinions are welcome. I have a outfit being made witch is lovely and I have his wig too. now for him is just the head and the how I will be modding it.[update end 9/4/14]

[update 27/4/14] I am looking to get the 07 and i am 100% sure of it so now all I need is modification to it. so any links to how to mod the DD heads eyes are welcome and will help. I may see if I can get it commissioned if I don't feel confident with doing it my self so any UK artists that have moded DDs before too welcome to give me links to them it will help a lot ^^[update end 27/4/14]

Bump other head added hummm..

I think the "Misty" head looks best so far. it's a little longer in the face, so it looks like more teen/adult aged, while the "Tsubaki" head looks more baby/child aged.

 

Not a naruto fan, but i can't wait to see your final outcome, great job so far!

Hmm.. first head seems to be a better match for the shape of Gaara's head but the eyes are a tad too big. Maybe a mod to make the eyes smaller? Or a similar head with smaller eyes? Just a suggestion

Yeah I know what both of you are saying =/. I was sat last night looking and the other option is the SQ23 Unpainted head kit "Tachibana" her eyes are still not fight but with nose and jaw shape is the closest I think (looking at the blank head the face-up ones can throw you off haha.

 

I am going to do the same to there image of Tachibana today at some point. but I do think its moving to a Mod needed for him. Who in the UK can do this? I have never needed to know haha on to the forums I think...

I think I will gimp the Kirei too since the Haruka and Kirei has pretty much the same eye shape.

This looks the best so far I think. I would keep looking for someone who can do eye mods

I think because all current molds are girls you will def need one. It's kind of an integral part of Gaara. His glare under his love tattoo The eyes can be done by ersa flora. If you send her a picture she can make them up for you. There are other eyes I've stumbled upon, butbetween costs and searching I would definitely just use an eye customizer.

I was going to update this tomorrow but yes I have his and my oc Els eyes ready to be made next month I am going to pay and they will be made by ersa flora=D I am looking about the forums to find the

I don't know the size of Kirie but my Misty had a smaller head (and it looks like Kirie does too) 22mm was WAY to big. Gaara doesn't have high lights in his eyes but you def don't want the wide eyed look for him. So at the VERY least 20mm maybe smaller but you should check around first

ok =). I am thinking now that since the eyes will be modded I should be looking at face shape instead of eyes so manly face I'm staring at the SQ23 Unpainted head kit "Tachibana" head again the chin and nose is more of what I would be looking at.. humm

The eyes look good! Naruto although a manga has no anime eyes lol. No one has the highlights. Most characters have nondescript eyes. Which head did you decide on? Keep in mind that the face shape can be modded too, probably more easily than the eye shape. Just a little sanding.

With the head for a wile I was thinking the SQ lab "Silvia" but now I am not to sure its so annoying I cant find the right head XD

I think with the eyes I have ready for him that they might just make it work. I have been stairing at this.

 

I think that Kyoya boy looks darling and if I was to make the lips very mute that he may work but I still don't know why I am asking.
