DD Yukino head?

For my custom Dollfie Dream I'm interested getting a Yukino head. Actually I would prefer to buy the finished version of the head, with face-up already done. I'm talking about the Volks Yukino standard DD model head.

 

My questions are: How much is a finished/painted Yukino head worth (in ¥)?

What are the differences between the V1 and V2 versions of the head?

 

I see some Yukino heads on Yahoo Auction Japan, but they're about ¥15000 and not really getting sold. Is that price too high? I wouldn't buy there though, because of the proxy costs and such.

Where would it be the best for me to buy this head? I could post in the "Looking For" section on this forum maybe.

Hey there. I'm not 100% sure of this but I think most default Yukino heads sell for around $90-$120 USD. So in yen that's like 9,000-12,000. Now that's selling prices, not what people are asking. I've seen some sell for a little more but most *sell* at the prices above.

Yep, that's too much, at least in the US market. If they aren't selling on YJA at those prices then that means they're too much for the Asian market too.

That's one place to start. You should also do a "looking for" post on FigureFM or Dollfm. Both of those sites have lots of traffic and large communities that check the classifieds there. And if you have an account with them, post on DoA too, it can't hurt.

Volks pre-painted (limited) heads such as 05 06 07 are range in 10-15k so logically a standard Yukino shouldn't go higher than that. But it all depends on what available out there or how patient you are .

If you are keen on getting Yukino head only, it might be quicker if you can find someone who want to split the body (new DD3 body easily goes for 28-30k so the chance beating the 15k mark is possible) wig, eyes, clothes.

The limited pre-paints are only 9800 yen or so directly from Volks. If you break down the pricing of the DDs, that's the exact same price Volks seems to think ALL heads are worth. Yes, to included limiteds. Of course, how much Volks thinks they're worth and how much people are willing to pay are totally different.

 

That being said, I wouldn't pay more than maybe $120 (12,000 yen) for a standard head (Aoi, Yukino, Rena, Mayu, and Miko). You can typically get them for less than that too if you look around.
